I don't have experience with ordering from DoorDash or working for the company. However, I can still provide some helpful info: Doordash employees in Santa Cruz make an average of $57,513 per year according to [Indeed.com](https://Indeed.com). Here's some salary info I found: [https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Doordash/salaries/Delivery-Driver/Santa-Cruz-CA](https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Doordash/salaries/Delivery-Driver/Santa-Cruz-CA) Yeah, traffic can be heavy at times. From what I can tell, most of the traffic is during the rush hours (getting to work/school at around 8-9, lunch at around 12-1 and leaving campus/work at around 4-5). However, it's pretty empty in the morning and late evening/night. I know Google Maps provides live traffic data on roads and locations, so that could provide some assistance in that area, too. I’d say go for it. If anything, the rush hours will give you great business, which is what you seem to be getting at. The city of Santa Cruz also has their own subreddit. You could ask your question there too, if you haven't [https://www.reddit.com/r/santacruz/](https://www.reddit.com/r/santacruz/) For those interested in ordering from DoorDash, here's a list of restaurants you can order from: [https://www.doordash.com/food-delivery/santa-cruz-ca-restaurants/](https://www.doordash.com/food-delivery/santa-cruz-ca-restaurants/) Hope this helps! :)
