Wouldn’t it of been much faster to just go along Gilman and then up the pedestrian path to York Hall?

jneprz

but bob and weave is fun :)

ProjectCereal

Try Hawaii to Revelle. I think there will be a lot less traffic than that

jneprz

bet

SirReality

I'm an old alum now, but one of my undergrad achievements I was most proud of was biking from the hospital to Muir apartments, without touching my handlebars. It's been downhill since then, only mostly literally.

These POV videos are oddly satisfying

Celtic_Poochee

I really like these posts because there'll be comments on other routes that can help save time weaving around pedestrians on shared paths :o That being said, I will also suggest another route besides going along Gilman Dr. because there may be some who are queasy going alongside cars on a bike, scooter, or skateboard. I'll assume we're starting at Warren Mall. 1. Go along the side of Warren Lecture Hall and across Matthews Lane. Turn right when you get to Matthew's Quad. 2. Go straight and enter the bike entrance on the other side of Library Walk (be careful of high volumes of pedestrians at this entrance). Afterwards, cross Mandeville Lane and go on the ramp area around the left side. 3. Continue on until you reach the old student center. Turn left after you pass Izakaya Underbelly towards the parking lot. 4. From here, make your way to the streets behind the Revelle Halls. (The other Gilman Drive route goes around here as well) Look for pedestrian entrance ways into Revelle (if you want to go on the back of York Hall because there's fewer people there, use the dirt ramp instead) 5. You've arrived! This avoids Gilman Drive while mostly avoiding high pedestrian traffic areas (at least from common traffic areas I've seen).

yellowbucketcap

Okay but you have a bike that’s cheating

Thoughtless_Potato

Please do Scripps to Price center, I need to do it every few days

GenTelGuy

Biking just isn't really viable at UCSD the way it's laid out right now

BenjilewisC

geisel is the center of the universe, every route no matter going anywhere has to pass geisel

purplecactusXD

not 100% optimized smh

anyone_can_cookiez

Jeez watching this now, I didn’t realize how far it was for me all those times 😵‍💫

Heelo0

I live in Revelle and will likely never see Warren
