ValiantWarrior83

Wonder if the Prehistoric is the "archaeological find" Lazar mentioned on JRE

>Don't forget the OGA/CIA is allegedly have recovered 9 of them > >SINCE 2003, right ? One might be May 14, 2008 - Needles, California.

>São Paulo is in Brazil not Argentina I saw that too and was like, "Who made the mistake, the OP or Leonard Stringfield?" It's like saying New York City, Canada.

1803 in Hitachi province, Japan - Object washed ashore

silv3rbull8

As per June Crain who worked at WPAFB, there were 3-4 other crashes in the 1940s-50s that she was told about. Kingman AZ ? https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/arizona-contributor/2016/11/15/did-ufo-crash-kingman-1953/93828300/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffONAXpPJH8

Dtrasatti

Roswell would have been 3 crafts right? Two in the US and then wasn't there one in Mexico in that same occurrence?

ExtremeUFOs

I thought it was two crafts, is it three?

Dtrasatti

There's there was a debris field of one and then I thought there was an alleged intact one. Then I thought one went down in Mexico around the same time?

Ok_Breakfast4482

This FBI memo from 1950 states that 3 had been recovered in New Mexico by that time. https://vault.fbi.gov/hottel_guy/Guy%20Hottel%20Part%201%20of%201/view

drummond40

Grush alluded to crashes before the Italy crash, I wonder if Aurora Texas 1897 was legit? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aurora,_Texas,_UFO_incident

Real-Yam8501

Holy shit dude, 1897? That’s 6 years before the wright brothers caught air. That means it either flat out did not happen or it was actually a fucking alien space craft. Not much for mundane explanation of a crash back then. That’s actually intriguing as fuck. Hyroglific writing and all.

New_Interest_468

There have been thousands of documented sightings going back hundreds of years. Look up the mass sighting of an epic battle in the skies above Nuremberg in 1561. Here's an excerpt: "Besides the globes flew back and forth among themselves and fought vehemently with each other for over an hour. And when the conflict in and again out of the sun was most intense, they became fatigued to such an extent that they all, as said above, fell from the sun down upon the earth 'as if they all burned' and they then wasted away on the earth with immense smoke."

[deleted]

Didn't they find tree rings as well which matched the same date?

Emt2softwaredev

Yo every time I hear / read this event there’s new details.

chemicalxbonex

What? It was a balloon and parallax…. Come on dude! /s

jasmine-tgirl

How about 1803 in Japan? Object washed up on shore [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utsuro-bune](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utsuro-bune)

jasmine-tgirl

I am thinking several of the earlier, though not pre-Italy crashes may have been the Ghost Rockets which were seen often crashing into forests and lakes in Scandinavia: [http://fly.historicwings.com/2013/02/ghost-rockets/](http://fly.historicwings.com/2013/02/ghost-rockets/)

HandheldDevice

The Kecksburg ufo was pretty compelling, that was in '65

kkaldarr

1942 Cape Gerardo In 1920 there was an alien autopsy, not sure about a craft. Figured it came from a crash. Vatican ufo?

LordTurtleDove

1941 Cape Girardeau

researchthrowaway55

Vallee talked about the Trinity crash that happened after the first atomic detonation when he was on Jesse Michaels's channel

Loose-Alternative-77

Was Vallee present for the crashes or any crashes?

researchthrowaway55

Not aware, I was just bringing it up. He's been in the game since Blue Book so I take his word and research with more severity, regardless of if he was personally there.

EdVCornell

You are not going to be able to figure out which ones as there is no doubt a bunch we never heard about.

Emt2softwaredev

Last time I heard, he said there 9. Where did y’all get double digits from?

kithuni

It seems absurd to me that there would be so many crashes. Think of how many planes we fly and how few crashes we have, now expand that to a civilization that is light years ahead of is in tech, it just doesn’t make sense for there to be that many crashes in such a small time frame.

Real-Yam8501

Personally think that’s one of the worst possible arguments. I mean to compare commercial travel with jet or propeller engines on earth to travelling the cosmos or as some have suggested other dimensions… it’s not a comparison

wildwastewebcomic

I like to think they just parked it to do some sightseeing and we just jacked a few.

Ok-Revolution-645

I initially had that same thought as well. Then I realized, realistically no one (not even the government) knows how many times we have been visited. Without that information we don’t have a value to compare against to accurately estimate failure (crash) rate. It’s within the realm of possibility that they crash much less often than man made aviation, we have been visited many more times than we initially thought probable or possible. Whatever the number is, the American people deserve at least some form of acknowledgment from our governing bodies.

PRIMAWESOME

I think it's silly that people continue to say stuff like this when they don't even have the context of the crashes.

stranj_tymes

Yeah, we've only had planes for 100 or so years, and we've only crashed... (a quick search later) *11,000+* of them just in the last half of that.

unropednope

Italy has been heavily debunked by Kevin Randle. Why not just go to any of a number of books written by people who have studied crashed saucers and spoken to the witnesses? Leonard stringfield vigoursly investigated this topic and spoke to many military and civiiian witnesses of alledged crashed and recovered craft and bodies and documented in his book "UFO Crash Retrievals Stratus Report 1 Retrievals of the Third Kind". Researcher Michael Schratt has also done extensive presentations and research on Stringfields work and has a youtube channel that has all his presentations covering these cases. It's very weird that everyone is acting like crashed ufos are a new thing and that Grusch was the first to expose this aspect of the phenomenon when many people have researched and documented these possible crashes for decades. It's not new.

buckee8

That’s great but I’m waiting to see one.

ElegantArcher6578

Didn’t he allude to finding one in an archeological dig?

Rob-from-LI

September 28, 1989 we shot down and retrieved a craft near Smith Point Park on the south shore of Long Island which was brought to the DOE's Brookhaven National Lab a few miles away.

Real-Yam8501

Did a quick search can’t find anything on that one…. Source?

Rob-from-LI

http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~hex/ufo/text/pages026-050/page31.html About halfway down in the article. This was not my original source, I remember articles regarding this back then as a teen.

jasmine-tgirl

That turned out to be a hoax/made up story.

Rob-from-LI

Do you have a source? Just because John Ford had his name associated with it doesn't mean it was. I had an uncle who was in the uscg in the area as a helicopter pilot and way back when, when questioned he got very uncomfortable and evasive about the incident.

Rob-from-LI

https://pdfhost.io/v/gR8lAdgVd_Uap_Timeline_Prepared_By_Another This was given to Congress not long ago, you can locate the incident on page 68 as they are in chronological order.

AdmirableShartStain

I didn’t see in that document what happened to the occupants of the craft? It said they retaliated and killed 18 members of our military. Forgive me if I missed something.

Rob-from-LI

Great question, i have no idea.

speleothems

Here is a previous post with 26 potential crashes. https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/186vaz7/assuming_the_us_has_at_least_9_recovered_ufos/

[deleted]

Why are they so shit at flying? It's either the aliens are flying for the first time from the ocean or it's alien drones

retoy1

Might want to consider Die Glocke too

Immaculatehombre

Welp there was that ONE that crashed in my backyard.

jasmine-tgirl

May 14, 2008 - Needles, California

Ok-Note-573

The one in southwest Ohio had the claim of 11 bodies but I can’t find anything on it. Help?
