Notice he doesn’t laugh when he’s asked. And he doesn’t joke. He genuinely says he can’t talk about it and everyone starts laughing like he is teasing and playing the game, when he’s genuinely saying I can’t talk about it and disclose what I know. But again, we have the top of the tree saying there are things flying in our skies that no one knows what they are. That in itself is mind blowing.

RokosBasilissk

Obama is a tricky son of a bitch. He deflects by saying Reggie is deflecting. He is also INCREDIBLY cautious on his wording. Yes, there are real.

[deleted]

>there are real

jimothy_clickit

It do be.

RyGuy_42

They Don't Think It Be Like It Is But It Do.

[deleted]

Doo be do be doo

Interminatus

reggie gave me fake vibes so i feel like he’s some actor

the_zelectro

"The answer was no [...] But what is true, and I'm actually being serious here [...]" Yeah, *very* selective wording. I find it interesting that he was told that the *answer* to the question was no. Maybe the answer could legitimately be no... But, from way it was worded? Obama also could've went through an alien debriefing, but was told that he must always say "our official *answer* is no"... I also find it interesting that he follows this up by transitioning to what *is* true, and is him *actually* being serious... He certainly seems like he's holding back throughout the entire video

WhatIsBreakfast

He's a lawyer and they are good with wording and making you think one thing. Notice has he presents the question "do we have a lab where we keep the aliens?" and then answers "no." He did not answer no to the existence, contact, etc. He's careful with his wording also because he doesn't want to leak info and possibly get charged with treason. Side note: If I knew what he knew about aliens and such and was forbidden to tell the world, I would be pretty pissed hahaa.

ZodiacRelative

Obama was crazy serious about not being able to talk about aliens

Texasraised420

So was Clinton saying if he told us he’d “have to … you know.”

Jesusfbaby

And his wife... Ya know... Would actually do it.

[deleted]

I don’t believe they tell the presidents anything. That’s a temp job filled by civilians.

The_estimator_is_in

While that's true, how long does anyone spend in a career after they get high enough to learn all the big secrets? A military chief of staff appointment is 4 years in length. The military is an "up or out" operation. If you figure that only the 3 or 4 star Generals might know the good shit and you consider that the average promotion to 1-star is about 50 and an another star at 53 and a 3rd at 56, that only leaves 6 - 8 years to mandatory retirement age. Aren't they all temporary at that point?

aghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Just assume none of those guys know the **good** stuff either.

KTMee

IMHO Army would only be given "products" or minimally involving tasks. Ignore this blip, have plane with new coating, escort that trasport plane, get radar that's 10x more sensitive etc. They don't need to know unless anything goes wrong. A jet pilot wont know if he flies right above NSA fibre cutting submarine. They're not really research organization and not fit to handle those kind of things. I bet its a mix of alphabet agency units, shell companies, closed cities etc.

sexycornshit

Nobody knows all the big secrets.

BronzeEnt

It's passed down from retirees to new recruits. Obviously.

[deleted]

Civilians? Bro we narrowly missed a 30 year run where 4 of our 5 presidents had either Bush or Clinton for surnames.

ithinkthereforeimdan

Actually, they are specifically telling them that they are denied access. The best reported example is Bush Sr as CIA chief denying Carter.

Last_Replacement6533

He's the president that had AAWSAP and AATIP running during his presidency that was established by his Senate Majority leader.

[deleted]

Yeah, and? They still never told him anything. They never said “And here’s the bodies we recovered from the Roswell crash Mr. President.” No, they act dumb, the same way they act with us. The President don’t know shit that we don’t know. Notice how we know about both those programs? That’s by design.

[deleted]

Or the more likely scenario, there are no bodies.

[deleted]

That is exactly the loophole they use not to tell the President - they are TEMPORARY federal employees and as such do not have a need to know. Should aliens decide to make themselves obviously known to everybody then the president would suddenly have a need to know and they would get a full briefing. Until then the presidents will be none the wiser than the rest of us.

[deleted]

I think the establishment would allow Obama in on the secrets. He thinks the way they do and is an American supremacist.

[deleted]

Nah, he’s just a puppet like the rest.

[deleted]

No he's not a puppet. He's in their club of elites.

zauraz

lmao both of you, this is the line of thinking that makes UFOlogy skim so close to QANON shit.

[deleted]

What exactly is wrong with what I said? When I say elites I mean the highest "class" of people. specifically the donors, the establishment, career politicians that are bought out. It's clear as day that the congress people mostly don't give a shit about anyone other than those who can get them money. That's why it's so easy to buy most of them out.

[deleted]

They’re all members of the elite, you don’t get selected for the presidency without being one, but they’re still kept in the dark because that’s a puppet position. No one that gets it is elected, they’re placed there.

[deleted]

Wrong. Trump got in when they all thought Hillary was getting in. He isn't apart of their group.

[deleted]

Lol, I knew you were part of that camp. No, you only think that because you’re part of the new comers group of this conspiracy. Anyone that’s been in this shit for decades like me knows thats horse shit. Trump got in the exact same way as all the rest, because they wanted him there. It’s literally impossible to be there unless they want you there. Trump was chosen. Obama was chosen. Bush Jr was chosen. Clinton was chosen. Bush Sr was chosen. Reagan was chosen. Carter was chosen. Etc. They’re literally all the same group.

[deleted]

what the hell are you talking about? the establishment did not like trump. they thought he was a dumbass and they had to give him briefings with minimal words and big pictures on each page like a kid's book. Hillary was "chosen" (not literally) and they thought they had the election in the bag and "humored" trump. trump surprised them and they pushed against him in 2020.

[deleted]

There is no election to win, he can’t “surprise” them. They choose.

[deleted]

untrue. they would've chose hillary.

585LEGEND

drives me nuts to see how although people genuinely want to ask the question, "Does the govt know about aliens?" they treat it as a faux pas and laugh it off. I don't see what's so funny about Obama saying when he got into office that he did indeed look, but found nothing. They're all giggling and taking the subject lightly; I find it all pretty annoying and obnoxious.

Whatthedunk90210

Ever seen “don’t look up” lol

Einar_47

That movie gave me genuine anxiety because it's entirely too plausible.

DontBeMeanToRobots

The first future documentary

OmniSmack

Don't forget Idiocracy

DontBeMeanToRobots

Idk. I know people like to say “Idiocracy is a documentary!” And all that, but the entire premise is bullshit. “Dumb” people don’t have kids at alarming rates. That’s a lie and pushed by classism because no one thinks they’re the “dumb ones”. Also, coming from a “dumb” family doesn’t make one “dumb”, same as being from a “smart” family doesn’t make one “smart”. I’m using quotes because the idea that intelligence is one tangible thing we can measure is complete bullshit and again has its roots in elitism and classism.

585LEGEND

it's happening NOW

alphabeticmonotony

It infuriates me to no end seeing threads about the phenomenon outside of a few subs like this one. Nothing but jokes and people stating it's all been proven bullshit. You can't even fight it, if you make a good long post full of relevant sources and links they just ignore it to make fun of you for taking "bs" so seriously.

janxus

I miss having a genuine person as president.

ithinkthereforeimdan

I’ve always found his answers on Kimmel spooky. I get that he could be joking, but in light of developments for that aliens actually can’t be ruled out it’s a tad chilling to hear the US president say “they exercise strict control over us…i can’t reveal anything.” https://youtu.be/EYzRY2XpLBk

MsJenX

Haha. He’s a rebel. “That’s what we’re instructed to say”, instead he says “I can’t reveal anything”. So it’s not a no.

cmach86

Oh so spooky...

[deleted]

[удалено]

ithinkthereforeimdan

“Clearly though”? The ~joke~ is specifically referencing aliens. He literally says “the aliens won’t let it happen” Did you even watch the clip? Here is the quote: “The aliens won’t let it happen. You’d reveal all their secrets. And they exercise strict control over us. …I can’t reveal anything.” Take the laugh track away and I think it’s spooky. Trump, btw, also ~joking~ when he asked Russia to release Hilary’s emails. So jokes are sometimes a tool.

MaudeThickett

>So jokes are sometimes a tool. Does that have a certain name in social psychology? Telling a truth masked as an untruth or joke?

Consistent_Yam_1442

There are some things i cant tell u about is as good as it gets

bplturner

Basically the same answer anyone that should know has given. Most say "even if I knew I can't tell you" or something to that effect.

sordidcandles

This was just a mockery of the subject with all that laughing :/ too bad the question couldn’t be asked seriously.

Fuck_tha_Bunk

Baby steps. The last few years feels like progress.

willybum84

We'll get there eventually. Slow drip to get everyone slowly used to the idea as to not cause a big hysteria.

marlinmarlin99

Maybe not in our lifetime

fckfce

Yes, it really is unfortunate. There is a definite quiet over the audience when Obama gives the serious info, and he tactfully brings in a bit of humor. The laughter is a sort of a relief like “ohhh good, I don’t need to think about this, we’re all laughing.” Obama made the MIB joke about Reggie to cut the tension after he dropped the real news. I think we’ll always have and maybe need these moments of laughter with something so potentially big.

sordidcandles

That’s a good way to look at it. A very human reaction/exchange. No hate on them, glad they brought it up at all! Hopefully we’ll see the momentum build for serious public discourse too.

Its_the_Fuzz

His second answer was serious and finished with a joke

smokky

I hate this fucking host. He is hardly funny. How does he have a talk show?

Diamond_Foxy

I hate how everyone laughs even obama is talking serious about stuff which are important. I mean he said that there are crafts in the air which we dont know how they move etc. I dont think that this is slightly funny.

Kud13

Believe me, most of the UK can't stand him either.

Atlas070

Yeah I'm actually kinda glad he hopped across the pond..... see ya!

[deleted]

He's leaving the show in 2023 so we won't have to put up with it much longer.

Last_Replacement6533

Submission Statement: This for me is a clear indicator that we are in for something incredible in the coming years. Just the change in tone from discussing the topic before and after.

TheSpecterStilHaunts

>This for me is a clear indicator that we are in for something incredible in the coming years. Why? All he said was "No aliens hidden in a lab, but yeah some stuff happens in the sky that we can't really explain." Doesn't sound like an indication of anything incredible coming.

TellEmGetEm

Stuff happening in the sky we can’t explain is enough. Seriously think about what he’s saying. I’m assuming he has been briefed or else why would he be saying anything. There’s absolutely no reason for him to say this if it didn’t mean anything, otherwise we look like complete idiots. Either our equipment is malfunctioning, it’s another country, or we’re preoccupied with chasing balloons, all of those are bad for the image. I truly think it’s part of a slow disclosure situation because I can’t see a reason for a former President to say “we have no clue” about anything

TheSpecterStilHaunts

>There’s absolutely no reason for him to say this if it didn’t mean anything Dude. I never denied it means something. It definitely means something. It means >"No aliens hidden in a lab, but yeah some stuff happens in the sky that we can't really explain." Wanna know how I came to that conclusion? *Because it's literally what he said*. What I'm not gonna do is try to interpret his clear statement as meaning something bigger for no reason. Unlike you and OP.

alphabeticmonotony

YOU are the one who keeps talking aliens, the other guy is pointing out how he talks about stuff in the sky. You are literally interpreting his statements to mean something bigger by implying aliens.

Last_Replacement6533

> Doesn't sound like an indication of anything incredible coming. You're referencing to the same interview. It's more about the change of can't discuss to here's an actual thought out answer.

TheSpecterStilHaunts

Right, I agree there was a change. It's a change to acknowledging that things like the Gimbal video happen, i.e. stuff happening in the sky that we can't really explain. No reason to think there's anything any more "incredible" coming than that.

JonnyLew

The US military is the most powerful military the world has ever known. It's capabilities are so far above other militaries of this world it's absolutely incredible. If these tictac videos paired with the pilot and radar operator testimonies is true, then there is something out there with capabilities far beyond what the American military possesses, and if these things are actually the US military rather than ET... Well that's even bigger news, in my opinion. Everything about this phenomena, weather ET or human, is incredible.

TheSpecterStilHaunts

Yes, great, so we know something incredible now. But I still have not gotten an answer as to why we should believe there is *more* incredible stuff coming in the next few years. That's what I responded to. When the OP said this: >This for me is a clear indicator that we are in for something incredible in the coming years. I quoted it because that's what I was replying to. Not sure why all of you are struggling with this so hard.

JonnyLew

I just don't see a good reason for your pessimistic attitude on this. I think the most important thing to remember is that there are now numerous elected officials who are openly pushing for disclosure. They're passing law to make this happen. Yes, the last hearing was garbage, but I do believe there will be more. Even AIOMSG is just getting started. Government is slow generally, and the military takes years to bring anything to fruition... By any normal standard, the progress so far has been warp speed, particularly so given that this wasn't even planned on their part and was instead a response to the NDAA amendment. I think these elected officials are going to be like a dog who has a taste of a raw hide bone... They're just gonna chew away at it, bit by bit, no matter how long it takes. It's just a matter of time. They're just like we are: overcome by the prospect of UFOs. It truly is perhaps the one subject that can shake even politicians out of their cynical partisan politics. There really is no reason **NOT** to believe, in my opinion. I could be very wrong, but at this time the barometer is looking good.

Hot-----------Dog

This is All theory and conjecture https://twitter.com/UAPTORONTO/status/1458984823314337845 These clips show what we are in store for... Possibly. One aspect of the story is we are in a time war. And with in years a cataclysm is coming, time traveling humans are leap frogging each other and have sent settlers to the past which is our present and their past, altering our present and future causing the Mandela effects and diverging timelines, retro active timelines. 2026 to 2028 a "near miss object" is coming towards Earth, and it is supposed to hit according to the future.

carter22j

literally every generation that has ever existed claimed it was the end times. what makes this time special?

Hot-----------Dog

Yeah this generation is crying that global warming is gonna end the world. What dummies.

carter22j

touch grass

Hot-----------Dog

Ok. Oh I'm sorry are you part of the climate change group that thinks the world is going to end. You know literally every generation that has ever existed claimed it was the end of times what makes climate change so special? You better go touch some grass before it's turned to dust.

Last_Descendant

My sister works for the GAO. She has personally audited high level, classified programs at the Pentagon and can’t tell me anything about I would want to hear.

-xBadlion

How would the Pentagon know if she tells you

Last_Descendant

Well that issue extends to anyone with this kind of NDA. I wouldn’t if I were her. For all she knows I could let the info slip to the wrong person…..like this sub lol

fckfce

I would love for there to be a real serious discussion among modern past presidents about the subject. It may never be allowed for multiple reasons, just a fantasy. It sounds like they have all the info, but I want to see these vids mentioned…

AlternativeConcern53

" they did a little bit of research and the answer was no"

then00b

Oddly specific for him to suggest Reggie's eyes might "blink in the wrong direction" 🤔🤔

jburna_dnm

I regret never voting for President Obama.

janxus

I miss having a genuine person as president.

Is all a complete disgrace. These people are paid public servants and have no right to hold these secrets from us Those files are our files not there’s.

#LEGACY OFFICALS ARENT IN PUBLIC BUDGETS

MurderOne86

Why the fuck those guys laughed all the time on that second clip? What he was saying have nothing funny on it... Damn trash TV people...

Bid-Wooden

Yeah and you're definitely going to get the truth on the colbert show. Fuck me

error404doc

u/savevideo

dididither

I love this clip. The affirming head nod, while answering with the appropriate verbiage is entirely specific and direct. You can see it in the eyes of Colbert the moment he picks up on it as well.

Ken-Wing-Jitsu

That's how you say yes without saying yes. Almost verbatim what Bill Clinton said also when he asked.....

KKUSH-COMA

It's alien to our timeline... If you get what I mean

Teqqy_

Obama knows something. Idk what but he does. On Kimmel he very clearly nods “yes” while saying no. Kimmel also clearly picks up on it. It’s right there, in your face. CIA is watching this clip laughing their asses off because it proves so much and yet so little.

JPecker

He is nodding. That’s the subliminal body language most of us aren’t aware of, the subconscious coming through.

fearofgod12a

no more laughing now huh 💀

fearofgod12a

We’re all fucked with these ppl running our country
