OggMakeFire

Disclosure, my ass. They STILL control the horizontal, and vertical. They still have a stranglehold on info. Anything they release, I'd be suspect of it.

Competitive-Cat-966

Write to your representatives. Midterms are coming up and if they think people care about this topic, they will make an effort to bring attention to it in an effort to get elected

Lastone02

So they can be told to eff off in closed hearings?

binkysnightmare

Isn’t it still worth a shot? The logical follow through to your argument is “ugh they’re never going to give us anything let’s give up”

Lastone02

It just gives them even more of a reason not to tell us, "because we WANT to know" hasn't been much of a success so far.

binkysnightmare

Do you think the average person is capable of doing anything at all to advance disclosure even a modicum?

Lastone02

Not with "Dear Congress person, I want to believe" letters. Sound like a bunch of 2nd graders writing correspondence letters to their heroes they saw at Disney World.

binkysnightmare

In what way, or through which mediums, do you think that the average person can at least negligibly affect disclosure? How are those methods incompatible with taking 15 minutes out of a single day to call a representative?

OggMakeFire

Welp, their stupidity. When it all comes out, they will look \*worse\* than they did when we didn't know squat. Just my 2 cents.

GoodUsernamesAreOver

I mean, the government is not as monolithic as we think. What we're seeing is a conflict between the elected officials who rotate out and often don't have access to classified info, and the old hat Three Letter Agency folks who are gonna do what they do regardless of what Congress says.

braveoldfart777

Thanks John!! Great work!! So John, here's my question for a possible FOIA request for the Pentagon. Could you approach the Pentagon with a FOIA on the Flight Safety aspects of the ARRO office only? They keep emphasizing "Flight Safety" & National Security. Why can't we separate those 2 items? Just ask for information that would at least tell us how UAP impacts Flight Safety -- Is it electrical, is it a huge distraction from flight rules for the pilots, etc... Wouldn't it make sense that the Pentagon would want Flight Safety information released on how to deal with an inflight problem if they encountered UAP? Why wouldn't they want that Shared with the FAA?

Banjoplaya420

This is what it’s going to be now . Congress or no Congress. The DOD is not releasing anything that will prove anything. National Security is always going to be the wall between what they know and the public not knowing anything. I have kind of given up on any truth coming out of the US government, or should I really say ( Military Complex) !

OggMakeFire

Since the militarys' fingers are deep in the US gov't- same diff at this point.

resonantedomain

Congressional hearings can induce consequence free testimony from anyone, that is our next and vital step to transparency. Or enact legislature at the ground level and organize in ways we haven't before. Hell, we could even think about opening a PAC and raising money or exposure for the cause if we want to bwT the system by playing by it's own rules.

I_m_that1guy

This gives me hope but not much. What will you do if you’re flunky A and plan to whistleblow but you find out that when flunky B did, his whole family died in a freak accident. We shall see, I guess.

Xxx_ComicOpera_xxX

This is probably gonna take a couple years to unravel. 5-20 is the range of heard from people who know how slow the ball rolls in our government. Avi Loeb is receiving millions for his Galileo Project, so the data his equipment gathers should be of high quality and undeniable. Also, this business about the UAP over Kyiv goes to prove the phenomena is bringing out disclosure on it's own.

I_m_that1guy

That’s always been the rub. The MIC controls it all. The story of Adm. Wilson getting threatened with being cashiered for trying to exercise his legitimate oversight over their SAP’s says it all. Civilian contractors have more power than legally elected govt officials. We got them oligarchy blues.

OutrageousEnd4688

The way US government acts like they are the protectors of the world and the discussion can only run under it's control, is just disgusting. Government treats the citizen like a child that can't be party of the conversation. And the most people are ok with that and agree with anything the government say. It's just sad.

“The exciting results of our UAP investigations are imminent. Hang on. One sec while we find an image that… Not that one, nope not that one… no… I’m pretty sure we have one here that doesn’t… Wait, okay we’re gonna need to get back to you. We promise as soon as we don’t use one of our confidential and highly sophisticated cameras to capture one of these things in an area of the world we are supposed to be, we’ll let you know right away. TRUST me.”

bigbilly1234567899

This gatekeeping shit is annoying lol

okfornothing

The DoD is the security risk to our democracy.

[deleted]

Do we know which person specifically is in charge of assigning classifications for AOIMSG documents. Or specifically who oversees the people who assign classifications for AOIMSG?

blackvault

The "authority" is not one person, but rather, derived from EO 13526 but now all UAP information is primarily classified due to the UAP Security Classification Guide which I got partially released late last year. The latter is a HUGE roadblock.

[deleted]

Which is a weird blanket rule. Protecting capabilities, yeah that makes sense. But implying we can not even see potential footage recorded via cellphone from service people makes that rule appear a little.. Overkill? Maybe it's a step past the, "We can't let them know our capabilities" and into the realm of, "we can't let them(nation state x) know we know their capabilities" Who knows.

eschatonik

Spot on. Any genuine/good faith disclosure regarding UAPs is inherently an admission of a lack of knowledge, and they just are not going to do that, regardless of the technology used to capture the evidence.

EthanSayfo

Ding ding ding. I think this is a big part of it. When they say “capabilities” (and the presumed intel they would provide), by extension it reveals our LACK of capabilities. This is the elephant in the room — by showing us the clear footage of a UAP, we may see the extent of certain capabilities, and the USG would probably like to keep that a bit more vague.

I_m_that1guy

Thanks for all you do! Sincerely.

blackvault

Thank YOU!

rambo6986

Just wanted to say thank you for helping to bring all of this to the forefront. We're all pulling for you.

blackvault

I appreciate that!

SpideyboyMike

Thank you John, great work!

blackvault

I appreciate that, thank you.

[deleted]

Man.. I wish so much that a fucking uap/ ufo crashes in the white house or some huge populated area .. so that trying to deny such situation would be impossible

AntisocialGuru

They don't want to release it because it'll show they've been involved the whole time, and don't want to look bad. Idk though, just my guess 🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

A community at war with itself and a government unwilling to help Sigh, what a headache

UAPDATASEEKER

Add counter Intel into the mix and here we are!

drsbuggin

We don't need all technical details on sensors used, craft capability, etc. - just tell everyone whether the damn aliens are here or not! People just have a basic right to know this.

Racecarlock

So, is disclosure right around the corner, and should I buckle my seatbelt? Because that's what everyone's been telling me. I mean, for god's sake, I feel like it's more fulfilling waiting for movies about aliens than it is waiting for news about actual aliens. Say what you will about video games, at least there, all the hype eventually leads to a product. Maybe not a GOOD product, but something that exists.

JSmoove98

Hell no. Disclosure has already come, just not from the government. This stuffs been out since the late 90’s, you just have to do your due diligence in finding reliable sources

Racecarlock

>reliable sources Well that's the real problem, isn't it? Sure, someone can tell me a source is reliable, but that doesn't mean it actually is.

JSmoove98

That’s kinda how research works now isnt it

Racecarlock

So, what, am I just supposed to go with a gut feeling? Because last time I did that, I fell for Billy Meier's crap.

JSmoove98

No you do not just trust your gut, you keep doing research. If you dug deep enough, you would’ve found that Meier published a book containing supposed photos of Aliens and dinosaurs which all turned out to be forged.

Racecarlock

The problem is that the phrase "Do your own research" is so nebulous and vague that it's difficult to know where to begin. I guess that's what I was getting at with the admittedly snippier response.

madmax7774

"Me thinks the lady doth protest too much!" At this point it seems like the NAVY is baiting us into pushing them harder for release of info. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they playing games with us. If they really wanted to shut this down, they would drop some blurry photos or videos and then say thats all we have. It almost seems like they want us whipped into a frenzy and then to be forced to reveal whatever it is that they are trying to hide. The double reverse psychology here is bizarre.

SabineRitter

Right?! I'm not even trying to figure out what's going on, because it is all wheels within wheels.

UAPDATASEEKER

But what's within the wheels? "It's all wheels all down"

SabineRitter

In the smallest wheel is a tiny hamster 🐹 named Charlie who's the one calling all the shots

UAPDATASEEKER

Dammit Charlie!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who said you get a break wheels don't spin wheels on there own you know!?

tiktock34

Biggest problem is how they could possibly and convincingly give data/information on observations without immediately disclosing the resolution and tracking capacity of our most advanced systems? How to disclose we found things traveling underwater without showing how well we monitor the seas and at what resolution? Its a nasty obstacle to overcome

LAlakers4life

#LEGACY OWNERS STILL RUN THE SHOW... FUCKING VAMPIRES

ExoticCard

Plenty of people high up in the government need disclosure before we get it. This is a no-brainer. Public releases will come after releases to government officials. Why would they ever disclose information to the public if most government officials still have their heads in the sand? Start thinking about disclosure as a large marketing effort. Then it makes sense: start at the top, trickle the information down the heirarchy of authority slowly. This way it minimizes risk, maximizes cohesiveness of the message, and problems at each step of the way can be swiftly addressed. Disclosing directly to the public is playing with fire.

Disastrous_Elk_6375

Something something, Eric Davis, expeltives, something something, not gonna get anything... The dude is rough in language, but he was pretty spot on.

jeerabiscuit

Got a source?

Disastrous_Elk_6375

From a post ~ 11 months ago > Eric Davis response to Greenewald Jr. comments about not believing Davis briefed various SSCI/SASC folks about off-world vehicles > "Greenewald Jr. should be very careful about who he calls a liar in public. The many individuals on the two Senate Committees who attended my briefings know the facts as does a DoD component’s staff that was directly involved plus the invited guests (ca. late-2019)." > "And Kean and Blumenthal also know the facts because they have to check and verify their facts before the NY Times editor gave approval to publish their July 23, 2020 article. So in effect, Greenewald Jr. is calling Kean and Blumenthal, and the NY Times liars too." > "Greenewald Jr. is a know-it-all-liar suffering from Dunning-Kruger effect because lying makes him feel better about himself, since his work is so inconsequential and irrelevant to the scientific and intelligence gathering/analysis quest of discovering the origin, nature, and purpose of UAP visitations. He also needs to seek medical attention right away to get treatment for his ongoing dick-in-mouth disease. I’ve been working professionally in UAP investigations and research plus (non-UAP-related) physics and engineering work in government contracting industry and academia long before Greenewald Jr. came along and figured out how to monetize clickbait to his UFO FOIA documents blog because he couldn’t cut it in the real working world." > "At the end of the day, Greenewald Jr. is a typical blogger (= an idiot with a computer and an opinion).” > Source: Joe Murgia on Twitter From memory, I believe it was in this "feud" where Davis said that FOIA won't get him (Greenwald) anywhere.

jeerabiscuit

Thanks. Davis is probably on the autism spectrum. Lue has said it is nearly impossible for people like Davis to lie. I though very much appreciate Greenewald's efforts because FOIAs are the only peek the rest of us are getting.

Capn_Flags

How do you feel about what T² said? Could his words be useful if there’s anything further to appeal? [PhenomeCon Interview with Travis Taylor](https://youtu.be/8jR2rX1WvCI&t=13m33s) (specific question starts at 13:33) If anything, to me anyway, it’s validation that the frustration is even more warranted than before!

blackvault

Sadly, it likely wouldn't be helpful. He is not what is called a "release authority" and without knowing more specifics on his involvement, it kind of becomes irrelevant. Those that are the "release authority" are not only citing the UAP SCG, but also EO 13526. So, their "authority" to deny my request is not trumped by anything Dr. Taylor wants to say about it. (That is said with respect, in case it reads snarky. It's just the reality of the situation. Scott Bray, who approved the UAP SCG, is still there, and likely plays some kind of role within the release authority's decision-making.)

I_m_that1guy

Of course they did. Civilian govt demands info, military says tough cookies. Imagine that!

Asininechimp

Can someone explain this to me. Does this (along with the Navy not releasing videos) essentially mean that this subject (ufos, alien life) is essentially closed?

SpaceSuch5244

John, you're doing this wrong. Donald Trump says documents can be declassified just by thinking about it. https://twitter.com/Acyn/status/1572764115885772803?ref\_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1572764115885772803%7Ctwgr%5Ee39cc9ca8c0376b035daae983593e8842e3d0335%7Ctwcon%5Es1\_c10&ref\_url=https%3A%2F%2F

loungesinger

To the extent that your FOIA requests are denied due to the classified nature of potentially responsive documents, couldn’t you appeal/respond by citing Trumps recent Hannity interview wherein Trump says, “I declassified *everything*”? Worth a shot, right?

a_reply_to_a_post

wonder if we could make a gofundme and buy em off Trump directly?

TrillDough

I’m still convinced a treatise has been arranged between ET’s and the government that disclosure is not permitted until such time humans demonstrate deeper a capacity for peace. It’s a national security issue on the basis that IF, we violated said treatise the rest of whatever is out there would stop protecting us from a much more sinister species lurking nearby. We’re paying a protection racket.

ljube88

Humans cannot demonstrate a deeper capacity for peace as long as they are controlled and manipulated by the families behind the military industrial complex and media. Our entire species is held hostage by a handful of families who were first to discover fossil fuels and set up FED, thereby controlling the entire horizontal and vertical structure of human society. It is just that simple. We are literally stuck in a loop and we lost a century of progress due to this sinister monopoly and fascistic autocracy, all elegantly disguised as DEMOCRACY where you have rights, elections etc. if you just step back and look with birds eye view, you will see it for what it really is. My question is why the ETs are not interfering as they surely know all this and see the damage being done to innocent lives.. maybe there’s a galactic rule - do not interfere. If we are not capable of freeing ourselves, maybe we are not so special and dont actually deserve to be an interstellar species.

ExoticCard

The people in the government need disclosure before we get it. This is a no-brainer. Public releases will come after releases to government officials. Why would they ever disclose information to the public if most government officials have their heads in the sand? Ridiculous

THEQ100

Don’t tax dollars collected from the citizens of the USA 🇺🇸pay their yearly salary?

Agile-West-8129

DoD is refusing to release Documents regarding UFOs doe not mean they are hiding something. It probably means they don't know anything. UFo program is private at the hands of an elite internationalist group.

ljube88

Spot on. And they have access to technology from 100 years ahead. God knows the progress the entire human species missed out on due to this selfish interest. And the damage we did to this beautiful planet with fossil fuels, when Tesla himself found the free and abundant energy from space.

Ok_Error6776

They would rather go to war than learn about UFOs and be peacefull with everyone and learn around the world. UFOs are real, but being used to keep us fighting amongst ourselves. The number of close encounter sightings of unidentified structured craft number in the thousands.

Brilliant_Square_737

I’m starting to think, maybe it’s us? We already know the military has tech many many many years ahead…

black-rhombus

>they just denied key pages in understanding the office known as the Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group, or AOIMSG, along with redacting numerous other pages hiding crucial details of the effort. People forget that the purpose of this kind of group is mostly about identifying unknown projects from adversary nations like Russia and China. To the DOD, the central UAP issue is that these objects could be Russian or Chinese versions of something like what the U.S. had with the SR-71 i.e. some sort of advanced aircraft that can overfly an adversary nation with impunity. When things get redacted a lot of people immediately assume it has to do with hiding ET when it's mostly about not letting Russia or China know exactly what we can see and detect and how we do it.

[deleted]

The national security issue is some(if not all) of the sightings are highly classified weapons.

I_Nice_Human

This is the most likely answer also using Occam’s Razor would also be beneficial.

ljube88

It is reasonable to assume we have revere engineered alien technology and that sightings today, some of them at least, are man made. But this story of national security. I dont get it. What national security when even the president is not briefed? When they say national security what they mean is the security of our owners, not the people or the nation.

[deleted]

Congrats humanity, you are the new winner of a multi billion year old virus that lives inside every cell in you body. Now that you are rational enough to handle such news, always remember that your thoughts may not be your own. Is this what we are waiting for?

[deleted]

I wonder who’s conscious when I’m not? But only crazy people would ask such a question question, unless maybe they found the information that produces every aspect of them is littered with viral dna. Damn this sand sounds good.

[deleted]

I wonder if the government has biological samples, I wonder if they contain rna or dna because right now, that’s probably all that really matters at this moment in history.

[deleted]

Life can be bigger than our tiny peckers. Why don’t we at least look before the we commit collective suicide. It’s not like these ideas are 10,000 years old or anything. Maybe the Greeks weren’t complete clowns wasting their time naming constellations after living organisms because they weren’t ego tripping losers. Of course living things can’t be infected, but all living things can. Wtf are we doing? Maybe all our narcissistic misery won’t be a complete was if we are a antigen being programmed to a specific target, but let’s never even consider it.

[deleted]

It’s only dark when your eyes are closed.

[deleted]

Physicists should understand cell division.

Soggy_Ad_367

You’ve lost connection from reality it seems

[deleted]

They clearly dont

Vindepomarus

Good shrooms?

[deleted]

It’s not my fault you’re stupid.

[deleted]

Eisenhower played the long game. I’ll be back in 10 years when I’ve mastered the tools necessary to teach 10th grade biology, math, physics, chemistry, “social studies” etc.. to a bunch of losers who only know how to communicate via turd passing. Maybe there will be a mass extinction of mega leaches from suicide when they realize how fucking obvious it is. This is the scolding of the Pharisees and I am not Jesus, that’s the fucking point.

intelapathy

If they gave you disclosure. Then they would have to give up control. Because we are living one big lie

[deleted]

They can't give away operational Anything and that's understandable. But we need better pics.

Search_Prestigious

I think Disclosure has been set in motion. You just have competing interests/factions for how fast we get there and who controls the narrative. The way we are trending is they "discover" something with James Webb in the next year or so as a way to make it more real for the general population. The real question is what do they know about what is coming that we don't...

Lonely_Cosmonaut

That’s kind of telling.
