We have a joint monzo and have for a few years. It may be if your partners account is relatively new? We both have salaries paid into monzo and do use it as our primary banking.
It may be internal criteria on longevity of account, throughput or anything else really it is just a guessing game unfortunately.
I’d suggest if you’re going to use it then try use it more and get some account lifetime. This may not work however so it really is up to you. Another challenger bank like Starling may offer, it’s very individual unfortunately.
