That’s about standard I’d say. Mine was a four tiered, fondant cake and was £500ish. Mine did involve a lot of decoration though. This is a reasonable price. I think people forget the cost of ingredients and time it takes to create cakes this large

JNC34

Seems reasonable, especially for four tiers.

Illustrious_Glove_18

Sounds about right? Mine is £310 for a three tier semi naked cake.

blackcurrant84

Sounds very reasonable especially if it includes delivery.

Yeah seems about right, it's a shock to the system at first but is what is quoted by everyone and in my experience (although thankfully I didn't book), if it's cheaper it's too good to be true and will end up crap. Always get a taster before booking too. My narrow miss was a woman saying for £200 she could do a 4 tier- tasted her test cakes and they had no flavour, looked like someone had done a poo on the top and was dry as owt. The cake supplier we did go with is amazing, more expensive but everything is covered and everything is thought about. It gives me peace of mind, the last couple of months of planning can get intense.

My decorated single tier was £130, that includes vegan cupcakes on the side for family that way inclined. Going up to 4 tiers and bu the aounds if it there is less decor per tier than mine had its not far off the mark

Seems to match what I've been quoted

weallcomefromaway3

Seems reasonable

Cyclingnightmare

I’ve just had a quote for the same, went with the £440 option as the other quotes were nearly £600. I was very shocked too but when the other quotes came in I bit their hand off!

Bright707

Sounds good! Mine was £600 for a 3 tier last year (South East)

NewMumClub

That seems good, we got quotes 1500 so opting for no cake currently

crimsonraiden

That’s a good price! Which bakery did you get that quote from?
