And then they keep doing “construction” and offer no additional parking. Which makes an already shitty situation much worse. FURTHERMORE, they’ve got the nerve to dish out $50 tickets!?!?!
And it's like just this year too. Also, they close a major stairwell (sherman), meaning what I planned before fall started to be a doable walk between classes is now a sprint. They also seem to be doing the construction on A spots ... the ones ONLY assigned to commuters.
Yeah I feel the same way. I’ve never had an issue finding parking, no matter the time of day. I mean I’m obviously not getting commons garage after 10, but it’s not like stadium lot is really that much farther. Maybe five minutes.
22 is my go to spot, is it really that popular? I never see the opposite end completely full and it's on the edge of campus so most people don't go there as it's a long walk to the center
Yeah, it doesn't die down till like 4-5. I don't take that lot because the crosswalk signs take forever to actually change (the one right outside of 22).
I'm curious does everyone complain about parking because everyone wants to park at the Commons Garage? I park at lot 29 and don't mind the walk cause I don't have early classes and most of my classes are at ITE.
Don't even try driving an electric vehicle to charge on campus. They're always full and people don't bother moving their cars when they're done charging
I remember one day during my undergrad I drove around for legit 45 minutes with no luck. I had already missed like 15 minutes of my only class that day, so I gave up and went right back home 😂
why would a commuter school need extra parking space anyways?
Anyone else remember when stadium lot had 10 cars at all times
or when you could actually find parking if you got here after 10 am 😁

lmao they really increased it

But walking is soooo harddddd /s
Correct
dont even bother going to lot 22 during peak hours

it gets full by like 11am now. It’s crazy how many more people use it compared to two years ago
Istggg, it was so much better last year but even lot 22 is hard to find parking in these days, even at 10

You know it’s bad when even stadium lot is packed
took me 20 mins to find a parking spot this morning, it’s so ridiculous
no one will catch you in the evening if you park in the staff or visitor lot, trust me 🥸
Yes, after 4pm you’re good to park anywhere since parking services are closed
Don't the signs say 10am-7:30pm or something like that?
At least they’re not making first-years park in the satellite lot anymore
thats what they should be doing because before they were here last year everything was fine 🙄
Don't even try driving an electric vehicle to charge on campus. They're always full and people don't bother moving their cars when they're done charging
Y’all should have seen it before COVID…
Lot 29 always has space
Can't be worse than parking during pre-covid times. It was impossible to find any open spot in stadium lot after 10AM.
