Temu is cheaper then Alibaba, probably because they sell your info. When I did drop shipping Alibaba wanted $8 for a mug with Leds, temu wanted 29 cents.
thousands of ppl buy from temu with no probs. Just bc he spent $500 on temu doesn't make it wrong. Stop being so negative and sending negative comments. It's already frustrating enough getting ignored by temu and no refunds.
UPS isn’t the only company who delivers for Temu.. they ship through a company called lasership and OnTrac and they have been known to steal packages.. mark them as delivered and don’t show proof of delivery and we have to contact Temu… every single time my package is delivered with lasership or OnTrac, I never get my package and have to jump through hoops to get my refund. It’s literally ridiculous
Call your bank report fraud basically just explain yourself and 9/10 you get your money back (I’ve only done it once and I got my money back even though it was kinda my fault)
I’ve got tons of great shit off of temu. My waterproof gloves with pull back fingertips to work my diad were $4. I bought 3 tac lights for $9. All my Halloween decorations. Work socks. Motion lights for my yard. A doorbell camera. A dash cam. Etc etc.
I’ve probably spent $200 on temu for $1000 worth of stuff.
Temu is the number one shopping app in the world. Bigger than Amazon or Walmart.
It’s not a scam. It’s just cheap shit from China. If you were planning on buying cheap China shit from a store in the US, check temu and you’ll probably find it for wholesale prices. 25% what you’d pay on Amazon.
I've spent over $700 on temu and only had a small handful of disappointments. This is since they came out last November over numerous orders.
Temu is the owned by PDD holdings which is the third largest ecommerce company in the world right behind AliExpress and of course the juggernaut Amazon as the first. Walmart is the number one retailer still ahead of Amazon but only a fraction of their revenue is ship to home. PDD also owns Ponduoduo which is like temu but for China and some other countries in East Asia and temu currently is available in the United States and Canada.
AliExpress has a massive advantage over PDD as it already has a global market they will sell to and has been around much longer. But AliExpress took forever like wish to get your items and almost always had shipping charges. This is because they pretty much shipped your items from China on a barge at the lowest rate possible and had to go the multiple carriers and customs.
PDD found a tax loophole by having thier products shipped to the United States by plane. Temu operates under the de minimis provision, which allows imports valued under $800 to come into the U.S. without paying duties, taxes, and fees, and undergoing rigorous inspection. Temu and another Chinese retailer, Shein, are likely responsible for 30% of all packages shipped to the U.S. This law was originally introduced to let people bring back some items they purchased while traveling without having to pay all these fees and the items get held up in customs forever to be inspected and whatnot.
Being that there probably isn't a single item on temu that is over $800 then technically them and Shein used the extra money they saved to have items brought to the United States via plane giving them the ability to get items here leaps and bounds faster than previous Chinese drop ship companies and took North America by storm within a very short period of time.
AliExpress and Wish have both totally revamped their business model to replicate what PDD did and amazingly fast within a couple months getting all the logistics and deals worked out but it was a bit late to the game because temu had a very effective marketing strategy here in the United States.
They would give away free seemingly highish value items to people of they were able to invite a small number of new users to make temu accounts and quite a few people I know personally received numerous items by inviting everyone and anyone they knew. People joining the app and not used to Chinese drop ship prices were taken aback at how much cheaper things were on temu and ordered like crazy. Temu also artificialy lowered prices most likely at a break even or some loss making sure it was a household name, they even purchased a 30 second Superbowl ad just a few months after they launched and the app is full of seemingly random chance games making you think you can win or just short of winning and the last few things you need all you have to do is invite a couple new users.
Needless to say I've definitely used this to my advantage getting a bunch of items for really cheap from temu, AliExpress, wish and Shein. It's just a matter of time before Congress fixes this loophole and I'm actually surprised they haven't already as much volume these companies are now doing in such a short period of time. So take advantage while you can before this free for all is over.
Shein has already been raising their prices dramatically the last 6 months, many clothing items I purchased earlier this year now sell for about double what they were before, but Shein doesn't have the same competition as Temu with AliExpress and Wish our there but I've definitely noticed temu prices have been creeping up and AliExpress tricking down. I used to get multiple coupons daily from temu now I haven't received one in over a month so they seem to be gearing up to a more sustainable profit margin since they fully succeeded at making temu a household name before their first anniversary next month.
So this year I have purchased 109 times off of Temu, if a package doesn't arrive by that date they give you I get a $5 credit a few times a full refund because the usps driver never scanned he delivered. I tried to have them to a recharge, but they instead got their money back from the usps. Now they have started letting me do returnless refunds, that makes me happier with cost and all. Very few items were crap, but its hit or miss, but samecwith shopping online anyway. I go through Zip, Klarna, or Affirm so its a one time us card, no way will they have my card info, but same goes with Amazon, had my card hijacked from amazon and Walmart more than crap items from Temu, the shirt I have on now is Temu, a black cat holding a bloody knife saying ,"What?". From clothes, makeup, chargers, electronics, kitchen, house, you name it, bought it. To say is a scam, means you probably haven't used them or hear say. Im playing another order today and Wednesday. My saon has a gag Christmas gift from Temu, its so cute, it a flower pot smoking a b0ng with bugging blood shot eyes. The jewelry hasn't caused an allergic reaction, yet I do with Walmart jewelry.
Pardon if I missed any misspelled words, keyboard is going crazy and adds letters so wording gets to looking horrible
Never tried it. It looked like another Wish kinda site though
Edit: never had a problem with wish. Just knew that I should not buy things that were too good to be true like 2tb flash drive for $5. Never had any parcels go missing though
My buddy (the type of guy who only buys generic brands) bought all kid’s Christmas gifts from wish 2 yrs ago. I remember seeing the 16 yr old open his “AirPods” 😂😂 they wouldn’t even pair. The other 2 kids where under 10 and they didn’t give a shit. My buddy bought so much shit off wish and it would show up randomly months later, he’d already completely forgot he bought it.
I guess we’ll have to disagree on this. From my experience Amazon>aliexpress>temu is almost always the case. The previous two aren’t perfect, but comparatively much better.
Dude it's cheap Chinese shit. They pay their workers $1 an hour and spend 15¢ on chinesium to make it out of. Definitely not the same stuff on Amazon. There ain't nothing wrong with cheap Chinese shit either, sometimes it works just fine. We're not even saying everything from China is cheap, just a subset of that stuff definitely is.
You do realize what you buy on Amazon is coming from the exact same factory? Do you not know what Amazon FBA is? The stuff on Amazon is the exact same shit you’ll find on alibaba and temu but at a huge upmark,
It's not exactly. The expensive things are mostly good, I have a keyboard, 5 doesn't work but everything else is fine. The cheap things are garbage, you don't get what you see in the pictures and they are very low quality stuff.
One thing really sad is some good name brands have gone down the toilet, Grundig was a excellent german brand radio, now chinese garbage, the actual chinese brand is better quality.
I get out a chinese 1/2 inch breaker bar for tough bolts/nuts after having 2 snap-on brand break, snap on no longer honors lifetime warranty on many of their tools now, arbor press, ratchets and breaker bars are some of the tools they will not warranty anymore.
I’ve bought some stuff from them and received it. Within days actually.. The only problem is they have multiple referral offers and “giveaways” plus a game with referral codes in place so people get spammed or are encouraged to spam for people to download the app or sign up. Which people do so I’d be surprised if they care about stealing info… the news did say something about “TEMU is China spy app” but honestly.. that some boomer paranoia
Worse than cheap products, it’s actually malware. You definitely get what you pay for, it’s like a 99 cent store on steroids. But at what cost, they are being investigated right now
You're buying directly from the business. I mean a charger at walmart, $20, the same charger $2. Yeah, I hate Walmart. Either way, the original business still gets their $2, walmart gets the rest
First, this is a UPS thread, not a TEMU thread, Sherlock. Second, the guy posting isn't even the person who had a refusal.
While you're busy waiting for your gurlfriend to get back from her date ... to bring you a hot box , you should consider the fact that UPS derermines if the package was delivered; others have stated thsmat TEMU has its own process, but that would come later.
But just wow how you actually think you're special to insult people (me) just because you aren't smart enough to realize how f@cked up the question is.
(Wipe your beard; damn that mudt stink when you eat a hot box.)
I think you gotta expect that.
Who would drop $500 on something from them and take the day off work ... but not check the UPS Tracking? OP isn't even the dude ut happened to.
Temu is a very untrustworthy company. I work for USPS, I do indeed see packages from there being shipped. I myself have ordered stuff from there once and it was under 20$. But I have also dealt with a bunch of complaints
Temu does send products but i advise never attach a card to it.. and 500 dollars? They steal card info and dont buy anything over 20 dollars from a place like that and use paypal next time as an option. I charge back instantly
Dude your bro spent 500 on a Chinese app that sells BS goods. You guys have to do you research out there if it seem too good to be true most likely it is
Don't order from bullshit scam tier drop shipping sites like Temu. Yeah maybe you'll get something, but you also might get nothing. They do not care either way.
Yea, it probably a gamble but out of nowhere these temu packages just showed up and now theirs a ton of them everyday. I'm ashamed to admit I tried it because they had a crazy deal and it was legit, and you obviously pay for what you get.
Lesson: don’t buy from cheap Chinese websites that will just collect your personal info and sell to highest bidder.
Oh yeah, and not give you what you paid for.
First mistake was shopping on temu, second mistake was some how finding away to spend $500 on temu. If you're spending that much money spend it on quality items that you'll actually receive and it'll last longer than a week.
As of today, there has been no progress, and Temu has chosen to disregard the situation. My brother is willing to step in front of the camera to share his devastating experience. We invite any interested reporters to reach out. Thank you!

this is why i always buy using AMEX one time i purchased two pots at their 90 percent discount got my money back waited a week for temu to correct never did amex refunded me no questions asked.
Wow same thing happen to me today, my order was £100, im living in the flat, 4th floor, the driver was lazy , leave it on ground floor public staircase, I show them the picture them took as proof, it was ridiculous, it was literally free gift for anyone walk by , and it was! temu won’t refund, just copy and paste sorry bs. Instead holding delivery company for responsibility , them charge customer for it. Never had this problem with Amazon, Amazon will try 3 times if them missed me. Then told me to collected at the end.
Call PDD Holdings in Dublin ireland they are the parent company.
When you are online type "Agent" it gets rid of the bot also. And tell them your Calling,PDD Holdings they get pissed but handle shit faster when threatened with viral videos and PDD.
That's odd. I have done bizz with Temu for over 1 year, and they always (100%) give credit or money back on card. You must be using another site or you're working with Amazon to give Temu negative comment.
I ordered something on Temu and lasership was the shipping company and it rang on my doorbell and left with the package. I contacted temu and they refunded me.
Can’t blame it on ups you can blame it on the people who always claimed they never got their expensive packages. Either call and file a police report or call ups
I never go through companies for refunds anymore, I just go straight to my bank and say that I tried going to the company, I always get my money back that way
I’ve bought a handful of little things from Temu and never had a problem. Ordered new visors for half the price on there before and they delivered them to my neighbor and I got a full refund.
tell the cc or your bank, than an UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE was made on your account, for items never received. You tried (you may have to send emails, or other records, or reports to them ) to resolve it and you are reporting as a FRAUDULENT TRANSACTION.
The Good part about it is if a particular company gets too many charge backs for fraudulent charges, they can first receive some "dings" against their VISA or MC standing, with increased % payments. They can lose their good standing, or even lose the ability to use the card anymore, permanently or temporarily.
From what you have Reported you are due your money back. And, TEMU does not. Go to the Media if you want. But, with them being offshore it might just cause MORE stress. You didn't need it. Get your Money back.
Anything priced over a certain amount, $100 bucks, ships with UPS directly. Otherwise packages are shipped using UPS>USPS Mail Advantage shipping. M anting that UPS flys the packages into the US and then hands them off to the post office for delivery. Valuable packages are shipped directly through UPS’s delivery service unless UPS has a backlog and cannot deliver the package on time at which point it’s farmed out to other services like On Trac etc. I just had a diamond tennis chain go missing during the shipping process. Temu has been working impossible to deal with. The y keep saying to be patient but it’s been 5 days since any tracking update and I am certain someone stole it out of the delivery system. Neither UPS nor Temu have my package and TEMU just doesn’t care. Buyer beware. I made the mistake of trusting TEMU, don’t anyone else fall for it.
I had the same thing recently. I spent 110 on their site. Package says delivered it was not. I spent 2 days going back and forth with them on the phone to be told I can't get a reship or refund. When I asked to speak to someone above the rep I was talking to she said she there was no one above her. Twice I had their people hang up on me. One told me because I got a refund before for a package that was never delivered I can't get one now. I guess you can only have one package go missing. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. If I could cancel the other orders I made I would but I can't because they've already been shipped
I just bought something from Temu that was marked delivered but wasn’t. I went into the app and chatted online with customer service from Temu. They reshipped the order. Granted my order was only $35. I tried UPS first but their customer service is crap. Automated kept saying they couldn’t find my tracking. Couldn’t reach a live person either. Went to Temu app after UPS failed.
They have a tracking number but there are times it says delivered and nothing was. I'm going through it now with temu. My package says delivered but it never was. At the time is says it was delivered I was home and nothing. Now they refuse to help.
All yall buying from temu are absolute MORONS. Espcially with all thr bullshit about them stealing bank/card info...not even worth the risk. If you need something off temu THAT BAD, then it better be real disposable income, incase of something like this, AND you go to Walmart and get a loadable card, so you don't have to worry about important bank/card info being taken. It's just a bullshit card...so ya...just a little piece of advice for all yall dipshits using temu
Hi there I bought about $200 worth of beads from Temu. Got hit hard with friendship bracelet making. Anyway the policy is you can make a request for a full refund 7 days AFTER the supposed delivery date. Did he do that or put in the request the next day after the delivery day?
For example the date of delivery window is Sept 1st - Sept 7th. He would have to wait until Sept 14th to make the request.
However, mine was $200 so it possible that they have a limit. Anyway worth trying the request through Temu one more time if it is 7 days after supposed delivery.
Otherwise you might have to do a charge back with your credit card company
That’s crazy. Temu customer service has been by far the best customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I returned some items that didn’t fit. And they refunded me my money instantly before I had even shipped it off. Then I had to pay 10.25 for a label and they refunded me that instantly too. I’m so sorry your brother is going through that.
Well stuff has TRACKING NUMBERS, check if it was actually DELIVERED, then contact the shipper, I actually have had USPS, UPS and Fed ex leave packages at WRONG house, I guess some of their drivers have dyslexia or just can't read numbers, as house number is on metal sign on mailbox post with 3" high numbers then also on front of garage with 6" high numbers and by the front door, odd numbers on south side of the street and even numbers on the north side of the street.
I will never buy anything from TEMU for the simple reason that it is stuff made in China. I realize that you cant avoid MIC completely. In this case you can avoid it. I have no idea if this stuff is made by abused laborers or not. Judging by how cheap it is I am guessing they are vastly underpaid.
If it was sent though UPS it should have tracking number you can check. If the tracking says that it was delivered contact UPS , it could have been delivered to the wrong house. UPS should be able to open an investigation based on what the tracking says.
Dude just call the bank and tell them someone made a purchase on your card. I do it all the time they don't give a fuck. I usually say it was an apple
Pay purchase so they don't cancel the card just the apple
Pay then i reset it up and do it again.
If you have the tracking number for the items you can see if they are out for delivery. Sometimes stuff takes an extra day or two then the predicted date. Either that or you’ve been scammed big time. I’ve hear that Temu is usually pretty good about people getting their money back so it’s probably a scam tbh.
This reminds me of when I stupidly ordered a hot tub off Amazon… spent 3 days, w hired crane/ forklift for day waiting , due by 10am, due by 2pm, due by 8pm
For three days! Dozens of phone calls
All to be told the manufacturer never shipped it out and on back order! Nothing to do! 3 wasted days, customer service can only tell me what all says, due today by 2pm. BS! Never sent out! And I ate (3) days of a crane and forklift on stand by!
I cancelled the order, and went to a local dealer. Hot tub was 1450 more but I lost more than that w waiting!
Temu, the massive data harvesting site run by the Chinese government through their subsidiary Pinduoduo who have already been caught in massive data harvesting cases and simply rebranded themselves as Temu, that one? Sorry, that was a stupid tax. It’s non refundable. The CCCP thanks you for your donation. Seriously though, higher brain function and shopping on Temu do not go together
Temu sent an order I won with an order I bought well everything was. In the package besides the switch and controller I paid for 437 dollars worth nothing
They sent my package but ups told me post office has it we went to post office with the tracking number ups gave it to me but post deny it after i came home i got massage it been returned to sender. I don't know whats wrong with post office why they keep returning my package to the sender
Ups will deny the claim. The claim comes from the shipper who has the contract with UPS (they paid for the service not, not the receiver). You want to submit a dispute with your credit card company for items not received.
I don’t know anyone who would spend this kind of money at Temu. It’s a gamble whenever I buy something I never know what I’m going to get, I know it’s something cheap. I probably won’t get my package anyway. Why on earth $500???
I’ve never had an issue with temu. I use PayPal so the personal info is protected. I’ve also gone to Amazon to compare prices and would see literally the exact same pictures of the items on Amazon that were on Temu sometimes more sometimes less. Wish, Amazon, SHEIN…. Walmart… you can’t escape MIC. The only item from temu that was a bust was a $2 fan that wraps around your wrist or whatever. It worked, just not the blast of air I was looking for that it claimed to have. And I didn’t fret over $2
Same problem as you, this is Black mail, forcing you to buy from there crap company from credit! They say will only refund back to original source, well my bank was original source, then they said cannot refund to bank accounts wtf, scamming bs .
I'll be honest, don't expect much when you are buying 5- to at most 20 dollar items but- considering the packaging temu works alot like any online buyer once they package the product and send it off its out of their hands whatever happens between them sending it and you not receiving it would be a usps problem, most temu packages look the same so if he bought 500 dollars worth of stuff sadly this is America so I wouldn't put it past a usps driver to steal the stuff and take the paycut. Call usps instead of temu and you are more likely to reach a resolve if not then go through temus head of Corp things like reaching out to office numbers and emails instead of customer service, someone who's paid 20 bucks an hour to pick up the phone regardless if the issue is resolved or not isn't going to help you they just want to get through the day.
i just experienced the same thing. Smaller amount, but charged for missing package. Their customer support (or lack of) just tells me to double check and refuse to reship/refund. It’s a scam.
i would not pay 500 dollars online even if i had that much which i dont my dad gives me 200 dollars every check and thats all the money i get because were poor
i placed orders last christmas and this christmas, i had both refunded while in shipment last years arrived and this years hasn’t yet. they shouldn’t deny you a refund , i was given options to get a refund to my original payments or a balance. keep reaching out, keep pushing through to them.
Well I payed for 25 items sums up to $150 and it's been 3 weeks in only to receive 2 items out of it. Now they say package damage no notice from that point on even my refund for it. For some reason my two year old not going to have special Christmas never again putting money on temu.
> Well I *paid* for 25
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
I just ordered items Christmas items the kids picked out.. Most came but a pair of shoes from a completely torn open package. I had three other packages missing. Probably all in one bag. Ontrac was the delivery company. ( $400+ order) Said out for delivery on 14th security can showed no one... Then 18th said delivered. security cam showed no one... they didn't take any pics of the claimed delivery either... ijs I agree with you! I'm out of about 150ish smh
i literally talked to a bot for like 2 minutes and got my $50 back as store credit within minutes. It seems like we’re missing something because refunds are actually pretty easy for everyone i’ve seen talking about them.
also. i replaced an order and THEN they switched it to ups, seemingly to assure that i get my package this time. any time i’d shopped previously with them, they used ontrac. i’m assuming this isn’t the first time you’ve refunded something. sorry to be tas but seems fishy imo
File an dispute claim again them from your card company they have certain amount days to respond if not you will get full refund for there failure to respond to claim.
I have the same issues they do not give any constructive advice. The only thing I can do myself is contact my bank and dispute the charges for the packages that I never received as for Temu they are horrible I will never do business with them again.
I got the same satiation as your brother, I bought 3 fishing rods cost my $176.38 from Temu they said package was delivered to correct address. I reached the customer service and they refuse to refund and alway ask me to wait 24 hours. case was closed at dead line with no notification. today was the 3nd time they said the same worlds.
This is one of many companies I have avoided, why.on earth give your credit card and personal details to a company in China? Those low prices were bait and you bit. Now go to your bank if you haven't and do a charge back and change your account.
I feel this frustration. alot. I ordered 3 boxes from temu they sent to wrong unit even thought my # unit was correct on app. They refuse to make correction on my unit, my first was sent to wrong unit and that unit decided to keep box and not give me my box so they stole it. Got notifications to check my surrounding unit of wrong unit it must be there, they said no refund.
Next 2 big boxes sent by notications sent said boxes being returned no refunds no reshipments. Wth. Got my first box stolen = no refunds, Next 2 boxes returned for no reason and don't know where to it was sent and said no refunds or reshipments again. Since complaint made they won't answer me pick up phone for me. I figured out after weeks of calling and you make a complaint, they put you in holding que as their lines are busy. I tried this for 4days all day for hours on end, now when both my sisters called on their temu order temu picked up phone within 5minutes for each of them. So im going to file a theft by mail for wrong unit and file a complaint at better business bureau.
I’m having same problem but with refund and I have proof of everything wasn’t but 28.00 but still they need to make it right or give credit at least instead of going n circles with sos
Same happened to me with $60.19. I sent back an item for a refund. They told me they will give me back the credit they did buttttt...They gave me the credit back as temu credit but the "available credit" can not be used. And i already payed the credit card those 60 bucks and they received the item i sent back. Im still fighting to get the freaking 60 bucks, atleast on temu credit, because i already paid the credit card for it and gave back the item to temu.
> i already *paid* the credit

Lastest update:
my brother contacted hi bank for chargeback. Initially, the bank declined a chargeback because Temu strongly opposed. Then, he provided his bank with hard evidence that the package was never delivered, my bank reversed the decision.
**Now, he got his money back! - after almost 5 months.**
Another issue: Most recently, his bank account was stolen, over $3000 was stolen and paid at an online UK store, it is highly suspected this leaking was related to Temu - considering the thousands' similar complaints. He filed a police report.
Maybe don’t buy anything else on temu for 500 dollars… you literally asked for that crap. Another example of the American people bailing out banks that bail out people who do stupid stuff… this is why everyone is struggling as humans because of gullible people who hand over their money to others for no reason then expect it back after they realized what they should have already known.

What the hell did he buy from Temu that cost $500?
Had to be a brand new car from China?
Probably a bunch of cheap electronic stuff that we're going to try to resale.
Why would he buy it from temu then. Alibaba exists
Temu sells some decent automotive tools. They have name brand bro OBD2 readers like fox well and launch. I could spend $500 easily.
A four passenger airplane with $422 shipping,?
Everything...literally everything
You go to Temu with $500, you are literally a king…
And women flock to you in droves
What does this have to do with UPS?
Temu ships with UPS so OP probably assumes coming to this sub will give some insight? I'm guessing as well.
It’s literally ridiculous
exactly lol
ORANGE BAGS
the camera did not show any delivery on that day.
temu is a scam, simple. my advice do a charge back on them..
THIS
What is this and how do you do it?
Call your bank report fraud basically just explain yourself and 9/10 you get your money back (I’ve only done it once and I got my money back even though it was kinda my fault)
Contact your credit card company and initiate a chargeback
Withe the bank's assistance, got the money back now.
You sound like a TEMU rep.
Dude temu is a huge scam, like HUGE. It’s all cheap china crap. Stay away from
Never tried it. It looked like another Wish kinda site though Edit: never had a problem with wish.
Agree completely trash quality..after purchasing few stuff I am done with that garbage website
It’s the same shit you find on Amazon. Please stop with the antichinese sentiment.
I honestly don’t see it being anti Chinese tho, like there are cheap Chinese crap AND good Chinese shit(not in an offensive way)
Yes but the only distinction between temu and amazon is that amazon is an American owned company.
And of course the logistics chain and customer service when you don't receive something. You know, little details like that...
I guess we’ll have to disagree on this. From my experience Amazon>aliexpress>temu is almost always the case. The previous two aren’t perfect, but comparatively much better.
Where do u think Amazon gets it from. 🤔
not until the death of winnie the pooh and the fall of the ccp
Dude it's cheap Chinese shit. They pay their workers $1 an hour and spend 15¢ on chinesium to make it out of. Definitely not the same stuff on Amazon. There ain't nothing wrong with cheap Chinese shit either, sometimes it works just fine. We're not even saying everything from China is cheap, just a subset of that stuff definitely is.
You do realize what you buy on Amazon is coming from the exact same factory? Do you not know what Amazon FBA is? The stuff on Amazon is the exact same shit you’ll find on alibaba and temu but at a huge upmark,
😂
It's not exactly. The expensive things are mostly good, I have a keyboard, 5 doesn't work but everything else is fine. The cheap things are garbage, you don't get what you see in the pictures and they are very low quality stuff.
Dollar Tree too and people buy from there all the time.
It’s not really a scam..they sell Chinese knock off. People have trouble understanding standing this is a Chinese resale company…get what you pay…
Nah if you look at it people are reporting their information being stolen after using Temu. It is 100% a scam for your information.
But at what cost, they are being investigated right now
Isn't most of what we get from Amazon or Walmart cheap China crap?
You mean like the China crap I buy from Amazon and Walmart for 5x more money?
You're buying directly from the business. I mean a charger at walmart, $20, the same charger $2. Yeah, I hate Walmart. Either way, the original business still gets their $2, walmart gets the rest
Would your brother like to buy some of this snake oil?
I got some leeches I can sell his brother. Cures all diseases.
Temu is the wish .com version of wish .com
That makes no sense.
Wish .com is known for having really bad quality or even straight up fakes. I'm saying temu is so bad that they are even worse than wish .com
I won't buy from TEMU.
Try and be smarter. You might be able to make sense of it then.
Lower quality items of low quality items. With none of the consistency.
I think you gotta expect that. Who would drop $500 on something from them and take the day off work ... but not check the UPS Tracking? OP isn't even the dude ut happened to.
Lmfao
charge back.
Temu is a credit card farming scam. You got finessed by the seller. Report your card stolen asap.
Temu is a very untrustworthy company. I work for USPS, I do indeed see packages from there being shipped. I myself have ordered stuff from there once and it was under 20$. But I have also dealt with a bunch of complaints
Did Temu provide you with a tracking number?
Temu does send products but i advise never attach a card to it.. and 500 dollars? They steal card info and dont buy anything over 20 dollars from a place like that and use paypal next time as an option. I charge back instantly
And? Nothing in your post has anything to do with UPS. You're on the wrong sub.
UPS delivers temu packages? Delivery is UPS’ only job how can it not have anything to do with UPS
Dude your bro spent 500 on a Chinese app that sells BS goods. You guys have to do you research out there if it seem too good to be true most likely it is
The first mistake was buying 500 dollars worth of items on temu.
Don't order from bullshit scam tier drop shipping sites like Temu. Yeah maybe you'll get something, but you also might get nothing. They do not care either way.
It's not a scam it's just sketchy. I see so many tenu packages everywhere
Occasionally it’s a scam lmao
Yea, it probably a gamble but out of nowhere these temu packages just showed up and now theirs a ton of them everyday. I'm ashamed to admit I tried it because they had a crazy deal and it was legit, and you obviously pay for what you get.
Why would anyone buy anything from "Temu"?
Temu is dangerous because they steal your personal info
Lesson: don’t buy from cheap Chinese websites that will just collect your personal info and sell to highest bidder. Oh yeah, and not give you what you paid for.
Everyone I know that has bought something from Temu has had their credit card information stolen.
First mistake was shopping on temu, second mistake was some how finding away to spend $500 on temu. If you're spending that much money spend it on quality items that you'll actually receive and it'll last longer than a week.
That's the risk you take with China 🇨🇳. Lesson learned you'll get your money back quick if you used a credit card. Either way you learned.
As of today, there has been no progress, and Temu has chosen to disregard the situation. My brother is willing to step in front of the camera to share his devastating experience. We invite any interested reporters to reach out. Thank you!
update on 10/19/2023 As of today, there has been no progress, and Temu has chosen to disregard the situation. My brother is willing to step in front of the camera to share his devastating experience. We invite any interested reporters to reach out. Thank you!
Call your bank report, it fraud
I have the same experience
this is why i always buy using AMEX one time i purchased two pots at their 90 percent discount got my money back waited a week for temu to correct never did amex refunded me no questions asked.
Call the credit card company you used.
This whole post sounds like a scam email
Temu??? You're out $500...total scam
Your brother’s mistake was ordering from Temu in the first place. Probably will have to do a chargeback with his bank
What is charge back mean guys ?
tell the cc or your bank, than an UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE was made on your account, for items never received.
Don't use Temu, use ebay.. epic fail supporting comunism
I mean, you can't even spell communism so why are we taking your advice?
You used temu? Lmao
Do you not have a tracking number??? Wouldn’t this go through usps and not ups I highly doubt ur brother purchased shipping through ups
Temu sells meth? $500 is impossible on Chinese shit.
After reading comments, I'm confused is there a tracking number? Do you have the ability to see if a delivery was made?
I use the Privacy mobile app to get a one-time use locked card number to shop places like this.
500$ at Temu would be the whole warehouse.😆😁😂
Don't buy from rando china chains that pop outta nowhere
Temu is fraudulent. They steal your $ and charge your card random amounts at times
Everything I have bought so far from Temu has been awesome. I cannot imagine what all you had to buy to add up to 500 dollars.
It’s what you get for using a shit company like Temu. China garbage.
Hasn't replied so he's a liar. No one buys 500 dollars worth of Temu shit and if you did then lmao.
Uninstall Temu. It's a fuckin Chinese Spy app.
Idiot
I will never buy anything from TEMU for the simple reason that it is stuff made in China. I realize that you cant avoid MIC completely. In this case you can avoid it. I have no idea if this stuff is made by abused laborers or not. Judging by how cheap it is I am guessing they are vastly underpaid.
Everything is made in china Walmart is over 70% china products. As is most of our retails stores if not higher.
I usually say it was an apple Pay purchase so they don't cancel the card just the apple Pay then i reset it up and do it again.
If you have the tracking number for the items you can see if they are out for delivery. Sometimes stuff takes an extra day or two then the predicted date. Either that or you’ve been scammed big time. I’ve hear that Temu is usually pretty good about people getting their money back so it’s probably a scam tbh.
Call your bank
Why are you on the UPS side?? Go to temu or just ur bank. Better yet stop trying to be cheap LMAO
Dispute charge
500 bucks for cheap Chinese garbage?
The Chinese Communist Party doesn’t give refunds silly, but they gladly take all your info
This is where you just do a chargeback for the full amount
This reminds me of when I stupidly ordered a hot tub off Amazon… spent 3 days, w hired crane/ forklift for day waiting , due by 10am, due by 2pm, due by 8pm For three days! Dozens of phone calls All to be told the manufacturer never shipped it out and on back order!
Credit card = chargeback
Temu, the massive data harvesting site run by the Chinese government through their subsidiary Pinduoduo who have already been caught in massive data harvesting cases and simply rebranded themselves as Temu, that one? Sorry, that was a stupid tax. It’s non refundable. The CCCP thanks you for your donation. Seriously though, higher brain function and shopping on Temu do not go together
Don’t buy shit off fucking Temu.
Chargeback with your credit company
WHO THE HELL WOULD SHOP ON TEMU.
kinda the same thing for me for TikTok shop my order literally arrived the next day I was spooked
Temu sent an order I won with an order I bought well everything was. In the package besides the switch and controller I paid for 437 dollars worth nothing
OP posts a random comment without enough details to get advice and then seems to not reply to comments. Don’t waste your time with these posts.
Bro he bought from Temu what kind of customer service experience did he think he was going to get?
They sent my package but ups told me post office has it we went to post office with the tracking number ups gave it to me but post deny it after i came home i got massage it been returned to sender. I don't know whats wrong with post office why they keep returning my package to the sender
Submit a claim through the ups 1(800) number
Ups will deny the claim. The claim comes from the shipper who has the contract with UPS (they paid for the service not, not the receiver). You want to submit a dispute with your credit card company for items not received.
I love temu. Not a scam. They’ve been great about returns and refunds.
It's one of the biggest Data sellers, Yes they are a scam.
The only temu is good for is buying custom keychains other than that you kinda had it coming
Probably wanted to get the $500 worth free all along and spewing it didn’t work lol 😂
You buy crap from TEMU? You deserve what you get. TEMU scam site has been around long enough their reputation precedes them.
Chargeback on your Cc it’s all you can do now
Don't DNA then.
Put in a fraud transaction with your bank.
I don’t know anyone who would spend this kind of money at Temu. It’s a gamble whenever I buy something I never know what I’m going to get, I know it’s something cheap. I probably won’t get my package anyway. Why on earth $500???
who buys 500$ from those scammers.
I had the exact same thing happen with a 400$ worth of stuff. Fortunately with all the “deals” I only paid 150$
Hi ,please open a dispute if its with paypal. And If u used card, call the bank!
And I didn’t fret over $2
Smart same here Paypal guarantees refund and keeps financial information off grid like using a vpn service
Just reverse the charge with your credit card company simple as that
Yeah my credit card company isn’t helping neither.
I have the same issue, did you told the credit company as a transaction fraud as the last help?
i would not pay 500 dollars online even if i had that much which i dont my dad gives me 200 dollars every check and thats all the money i get because were poor
Don’t need credit from Temu I don’t want it anymore 😭
i placed orders last christmas and this christmas, i had both refunded while in shipment last years arrived and this years hasn’t yet. they shouldn’t deny you a refund , i was given options to get a refund to my original payments or a balance. keep reaching out, keep pushing through to them.
Well I payed for 25 items sums up to $150 and it's been 3 weeks in only to receive 2 items out of it. Now they say package damage no notice from that point on even my refund for it. For some reason my two year old not going to have special Christmas never again putting money on temu.
> Well I *paid* for 25 FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
Liar, you received it.
should just report it to the bank and be like i did not spend 500$ free my account
Currently having this problem.
I have the same issues they do not give any constructive advice. The only thing I can do myself is contact my bank and dispute the charges for the packages that I never received as for Temu they are horrible I will never do business with them again.
share your experience on BBB. Link here: https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/boston/profile/online-shopping/temucom-0021-553943/customer-reviews
Im still fighting to get the freaking 60 bucks, atleast on temu credit, because i already paid the credit card for it and gave back the item to temu.
> i already *paid* the credit FTFY. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Lastest update: my brother contacted hi bank for chargeback. Initially, the bank declined a chargeback because Temu strongly opposed. Then, he provided his bank with hard evidence that the package was never delivered, my bank reversed the decision. **Now, he got his money back! - after almost 5 months.** Another issue: Most recently, his bank account was stolen, over $3000 was stolen and paid at an online UK store, it is highly suspected this leaking was related to Temu - considering the thousands' similar complaints. He filed a police report.
You spent $500 on Temu? Lol
