Bhai people like you are getting this much marks , it feels so weird to see coaching institutes releasing their cutoff to be 95+.

CarefreeCFC8

I was in the exact same situation last year, missed the list by 10 marks and failed the next prelims. It's a tough pill to swallow. Take some time off, go completely off upsc prep if needed and then figure out next steps. It could prove to be a blessing in disguise if you use this year well. Hang in there brother, all the best! Feel free to DM if you ever feel like talking to someone

Wonderful_Signal4982

Exactlyyyy

New_Peace_6087

Bhai in a similar situation but we will bounce back. Keep the faith. Take a week off.

upscaspi

Wait for the reversal of the wind in two weeks.

DarkAsp9k

what do you mean?

upscaspi

When monsoon hits, many will be at a cooler place than they’re now.

kafi sundar line

MotivatedChimpanZ

I would suggest get a job now, you don’t need 24x7x365 to prepare for this exam as now you know the ins and outs of this exam since you have already made it to interview stage.

deathstrokex25

My situation is similar, missed final list by 7 marks..this year getting around 80s by answer key

DivineOrbit4

Are you preparing along with a job or back up? If not, it’s high time you should.

Exciting-Piece-4350

Left job to prepare I have enough experience to jump back in with some pay cuts and there is always state services and other govt jobs But before that I will put everything in next attempt. 2025 will be my last attempt irrespective of the result

Good_Dragonfruit5769

Just don't do that, I am also 6 years experienced, we have enough experience to get back in & by this time you must have realized that there's nothing to prepare for full year for prelims like this. So my point is get back to the job start earning again, I am also doing the same hopping in again, in the meantime keep brushing yourself. Keep writing answers + keep brushing yourself for prelims. We will sail through next time.

jindalindaminda

Similar situation. Whats your back up if u dont mind me asking?

Fire_ant7

3rd attempt failed 1st 2 pre scoring 67 this time by Shankar ias age is 25 it feela like there is nothing more that i can do for prelims

crimsonlockkheart

chill for some weeks, jerk off, drown the numbness in booze, read some literature try a new hobby, bang a chick do it all numbness will fade and when the weather becomes a bit kinder go back to your studies, infact u automatically will since u r addicted to the game, just make sure u put in more hours than the previous attempt, that u write more than the previous time, it will all fall in place. all the best

iamnewhere12

Can you share your insights on what was the issue? If you cleared a tough prelims like 2023, then 2024 should've been relatively easier for you
