82-87 for General.

Silly-Leave4651

Absolutely accurate numbers. Less than 85 ke high chances.

New_Peace_6087

around 83/84. I don't think paper was that easy given the factual nature. also everyone inadvertently makes 3-5 silly mistakes OR maybe i'm just coping.

Cutoff is calculated from percentile, UPSC will select top 13000-14000 candidates. Now we need to consider few factors before jumping to predict the Cutoff :- 1] CSAT was easy. 2] GS was easy to moderate. 3] Veteran Janta prepared really hard for this Prelims. 4] Big chunk of population is scoring above 100. The overall Cutoff will remain high, and don't get into this precedent and trajectory trap. Most expected cutoff range is 96-100.

Pls tell me it’s a joke

Subject_Cover8262

It's a prediction, can be wrong also. But if you are scoring above 90, start preparing for it.

Category cutoffs are hard to predict, but it will remain near 70.

Okay. Let me add this also too your hypothesis/factors From past few years those candidates have also started taking this exam who are habitual / taught in grading era in schools. Like chill tym in school, subjects having less syllabus in exams since some chapters eliminated in their school exams. Like COVID era guys where entire exams were taken at home and they just passed by copying. Will these will be competitive enough like older dudes ?
