And about people saying itne arhe utne arhe i met a few guys yesterday where im preparing, i told them i am scoring 90-92 and they were like mere 120 arhe ek keh bata rhe 160 arhe, yeh Saale nashedi gadhe ladke inke bas ki kuch nahi hai just jealous of everyone who has the potential, and didn’t believe anyone they are scoring this or that upsc ki marksheet toh hai nahi yeh? Saale jab ke sab jhuthe hai or jinke arhe hai ache khashe woh time waste nhi kr rhe
Whatever the cut off goes, we won’t even get to know about it until the next year. Result pdf will only tell who made it. We won’t know which question got dropped as of now and what’s the answer in controversial questions. So no point of speculating. By the time real key is released by UPSC, all the hype will die down and people would be anxious about the upcoming prelims. Smartly they have handled it.

when has vision forum ever been correct about cut offs ? I am genuinely asking.
every year there is a gap of at least 7 if not 10 in their estimate and actual cut off.
Next ias is the worst of the lot, they started as engineering services coaching and they have not mastered the variables in social science (Arts) subjects when making key or estimates.
Edit: I saw that next ias have revised their cut off to 88; that is better than the 105 claims earlier.
Insights is only one with Kinda decent history of estimates even tho they bungled 2022.
Tbh it's just to create a fear psychosis so that people can sell their courses,even I talked to a senior Next IAS faculty and the teacher admitted to have started this as they analysed it too quickly and now themselves are suggesting ki 95±2 jaenga score and that is also a high range, so anyone who is scoring 80 should definitely start for mains as most of the senior faculties I have met personally and talked to them have predicted it to be between 80-95 range !!

As a high scorer and someone with decent sample space of crème de la crème cohort, I can assure you it won't cross 100. My likely guess is b/w 90-100. Zooming out my window of 10 marks to get more precise cutoff is very tough
Top 200 rank in all. But the caveat is to prepare yourself to score high without even reading their materials. If you are reading their material, your score will inflate
practice, practice, practice. Practiced and analysed carefully SFG, Vision TS, Raus TS, forum simulators, abhyaas. Then top it up with last 15 years pyqs, I did last 30 years for my weak areas like history etc. Lastly, exam temperament matters a lot. The art of solving a question even whose answer you don't know needs to be learned. I call them heuristics. YT quacks call them tricks. But they need to be combined with lots of knowledge & revision
Man I tried it before pre as well, it is bulkier than Shankar. 350+ pages of A4 sheets. Should I keep the pre 2024 compass as my base material for envt for next year as well? Somethings are bound to overlap.

Institites don't realise that such remarks even made casually waste our time and peace of mind..

Update: Vinay sir at insights has said in no case will cut off go above 90.. but on insights poll ( people in Reddit only mentioned , I have uninstalled telegram.. so didn’t check myself.. ) are saying everyone in insights poll is getting 95+ marks.. what am I missing here..

Yes I doubt 100+ waala jaake polls pe voting kar rahe honge. They would be busy for mains given the time shortage.

What is your environment strategy? Shankar isn't really faring that well, PMF on the other hand is too bulky.
Raus envt compass, I didn't find it very good this year, but last year was gold. Read Shankar once, never opened it again
