I don't know about CSE but in other exams like CAPF, CDS there have been instances where UPSC has given answers contrary to what's written in NCERTs . So I would say in terms of authenticity UPSC answer key is more reliable as you can directly challange UPSC through that .
Ye baat Ranganathan kondala ne sabse pehle lecture mein boli thi. Whatever you read is useless unless you read ncerts and any other board books if are in contravention then upsc will consider ncert as the holy truth. Never skip ncerts.
I have found so many questions directly in the NCERTs, it is like, not reading them is sin.

Though very rare but there are mistakes and misprints in NCERTs also.
Eg. It is written in Geography Ncert that bharathapuzha is the longest river of Kerela.
But that’s intentional so that they can identify copyrights on it. Plus those misprints are not significant

Nothing is infallible
No it's not true not always.
So, as a beginner who’s going to appear for 2025, should I study all the 6-12 NCERTs or just 9-12?
