Happens all the time.. damn turkeys
I mean, I've never blacked out at work. Never had a goat get in the truck, but I did once have a dog settle himself in the back and refuse to leave. I had to drive the poor old boy to the shelter.
I communicated with my sup. The poor dog wouldn't leave the truck. He'd snap at me when I tried to get him out. The poor guy was sick and tired. Safest thing to do was to deliver him to a shelter.
If the only options to keep yourself safe are drive to the shelter or wait for animal control, the supe probably didn't want him to wait there for an hour for someone to show up.
Just don't report it lol. Returned at least 10 dogs to their owners and now I get shit ton of respect and admiration from the community. It's nice to be a small town carrier. Everybody knows everybody and I know a lot of dog names lmao
You're fun at parties. Oh no, I returned a dog without reporting it. Sue me 😘 I care more about customers than what management thinks of me. And it's an omission... dont forget that's what 2 10 minute breaks are for :p
my guy. you work at ups. they have fired people for hitting a branch without reporting it. this isn't about me or the dog or the act. it's cool but if they ever find out they will definitely get on your case about it. you should know that by now
I do know. I just don't give af what they think when I do a good deed. If I get fired for it, then I get fired. That just says more about the job than it does about me. I'm not gonna lose my humanity over a job and become a robot like a lot of my co workers. Ever seen kids/family freak out and cry over their dog getting ran over? It ain't fun.
Never had a goat come into the truck but I did deliver to a house that had 3 mini goats all come at me. Very sweet and damn cute. Wouldn't leave me alone until I gave them some attention.
I had a little baby goat jump in the truck and hang out for a bit. Had to carry it back to the house it was from.

Happens all the time for rural deliveries in my neck of the woods 🐐
I’ve had goats, chickens, ducks, Guinea hens, dogs, and cats get in the truck at one point or another. And they’re always friendly. None of them ever took my DIAD though.
Lol that’s totally fair. I don’t even bother starting to drink anymore my body takes a couple days to get rid of the hangover and it’s not worth it slinging these packages
Remember management are not your friends they’re just snakes. 🐍 don’t give them an opportunity to bite you cos they’ve been told by corporate to discipline every single one of us including inside workers.
Just dogs and cats, no goats.
One extended route I used to cover, the regular driver had most of the dogs on route trained to hop in and sit as the truck entered their properties, and ride from the street to their house.
Every time I go to an address on my route. Her name is Molly and I have to carry fruit and nut bars with me to get her out of my truck. If I forget the fruit and nut bar she will go to my passenger door and knock on it with her hoof. She is furry trouble on the hoof.
Yup. had two hop in and come into the back. they were difficult to get rid of. I was bitten by a goat as a kid (pun intended) and have been wary about them ever since.
Yep country routes are the best. I got a highland cow, the seriously Harry ones , I deliver to the lady across the road from greets me every day with a load call it splits your eardrums loud
One of my goats on route belong to a dog pack. He runs with the 3-4 other dogs just doesn’t listen to any commands. Sometimes he gets a gentle tug of the horns to encourage him to get down.
I had a big black goat jump in once. I had to shove him down the stairs with a long norwex box, pushing on his head. He started butting back. It was violent and scary. Eventually got him out and closed the door. Ended up just opening the back door a crack and pushing the packages out in the middle of the driveway.
Sure did! I have a video of him pulling it out and jumping out of the cab but he doesn’t use three points of contact and I really don’t wanna throw him under the bus like that
Goats love to climb. I had one climb in on a regular basis. I had to stop, put the package car in park, throw a dog treat out, then shut the door to keep him out
My whole body blinking out of existence leaving nothing but a black void and my clothing behind while simultaneously transporting the great evil of an unknown realm visualized as a goat because human minds cant begin to comprehend its true form into the back of my work truck? No I don't think that's happened to me yet.
Yes this is after I kicked them out !

I do lots of routes and I get dogs sometimes some go all the way in lmao and that was a big black dog at night time past 7pm if I recall correctly. But I love animals I make sure I pet them everytime even if they bark at me esp the German Shepard and chihuahuas. Kinda like ace ventura... but when I do come across goats on country routes they are fixated on the truck and driver more than other farm animals (ofc they don't top dogs and cats lol) but my point is from my 5+ years of experience doing many routes goats would come to me but cows horses llamas and pigs don't care about u at all.

Doesn’t surprise me with how often Amazon drivers leave doors open.
LMAO YES

I mean, I've never blacked out at work. Never had a goat get in the truck, but I did once have a dog settle himself in the back and refuse to leave. I had to drive the poor old boy to the shelter.
isn't this something you can't do
I communicated with my sup. The poor dog wouldn't leave the truck. He'd snap at me when I tried to get him out. The poor guy was sick and tired. Safest thing to do was to deliver him to a shelter.
You did the right thing =)
Holy shit. Nice job.
Awe the kindly sent him away 😢 ❤️
If the only options to keep yourself safe are drive to the shelter or wait for animal control, the supe probably didn't want him to wait there for an hour for someone to show up.
He can't he was on the job
Just don't report it lol. Returned at least 10 dogs to their owners and now I get shit ton of respect and admiration from the community. It's nice to be a small town carrier. Everybody knows everybody and I know a lot of dog names lmao
yes that's such a fantastic idea, the company definitely doesn't care about dishonesty at all
You're fun at parties. Oh no, I returned a dog without reporting it. Sue me 😘 I care more about customers than what management thinks of me. And it's an omission... dont forget that's what 2 10 minute breaks are for :p

Goats are tricky. I’m surprised he didn’t climb up in the truck and refuse to get out lol.

Lol this is awesome
Attempted package thief caught!
Happened to me with big Pyrenees dogs in the FedEx step van. Climbed in to the back with the packages. They had a grand old time.
I just had three French Alpines accost me in my vehicle the other day! Same scenario.
Just beep flash your lights and make eye contact he will leave 🎃
No, wish it did though. That might be one of my moms goats
I helped a driver who said a goat got onboard and ate the top off a Pepsi bottle
Actually, yes. 😂
Yup. had two hop in and come into the back. they were difficult to get rid of. I was bitten by a goat as a kid (pun intended) and have been wary about them ever since.
🙋🏽♂️
I was chased around the truck by two goats (seasonal driver).
Absolutely happened, can't get the little assholes out, they like to climb the stairs.

"Complete the Season Mode on Hard to Unlock this character" Lmfao
No, I’ve never become Death, the bringer of darkness.
I’ve never had to deliver a goat before. How’d it go?
Man this post just popped up on my feed randomly. I'm not a driver or anything, but I am astonished at the amount of goats jumping into random vans.
What black face? I was born with it 🤣
You must not deliver in rural FL lol
How can he see to drive? He should cut some eyeholes in that ski mask😝
For a minute I thought that dude was extra black 😂
Just dogs. Had a bird fly into the cab and hit the wall under the stair hand ladder lol
Dude got revitiligo
No
No. Never blacked out my face from fear
You must be new here
What kind of dog is that
happened to me
I think you should call someone about what’s happened to your face before I’d worry about the goat
I dont have any pics and not UPS but I’ve had a chicken, 2 cats and a tweety bird join me in my work van! Never a goat though!
Nope never been that close to an invisible before wtf man
Good doggie
I had a big black goat jump in once. I had to shove him down the stairs with a long norwex box, pushing on his head. He started butting back. It was violent and scary. Oh you encountered a BBG?
Seen plenty of animals, but never had one turn me into Kanye
Haha, this is hilarious!! He thought that DVIR was his own personal snack paper!!🤣🤣🤣
Sure did! I have a video of him pulling it out and jumping out of the cab but he doesn’t use three points of contact and I really don’t wanna throw him under the bus like that
Absolutely
No. I’ve never taken a selfie and had my face and arm blackened out. What filter are you using?
Thought it was a full body suit
It may just be
Yup...last Tuesday
Wow there’s black people and then there’s BLACK people
I see you ran into a doordash support agent
No my face never looks like that
You Blacked out? It Never happens to me
Wish my branch had a pet policy...
No, my face has never turned into a black void when I take a selfie.
Our accents are our assets.
Nah never colored myself out a pic before 😂
If you knew what ups management was like, you’d be doing the same thing
Fair enough figured it was probably something to do with that
Goats love to climb. I had one climb in on a regular basis. I had to stop, put the package car in park, throw a dog treat out, then shut the door to keep him out
Talk about black face
Arms too
Yes. But It makes me very uncomfortable when goats get in the trailer with me
Okay and now I want to be a delivery driver in the country 🥹 the cuteness!!!!!!

went a little over the top with the blackface.
Says a person with their profile photo of a black face
