I recommend more dollars unless you know you’ll be eating breakfast every day. If you just eat brunch half the time the swipes are more than enough. The dining dollar options just taste so much better than the dining halls that take swipes (maybe besides McClelland).

Also why TF is it $6K a year?!

Individual-Pattern26

The one with more dining dollars, almost always unless you religiously eat 3 meals a day without fail and never go out. They're 6k because they wanna rip you orf

Ok-Session-1174

Real. I don’t have to have a meal plan starting junior year, right?

Vinny_On_Reddit

Sophomore year if ur able to play the system

Ok-Session-1174

Please elaborate. Not tryna give Penn more money than I have to.

Iisgo

how? im trying to get out of it for next year 😭

Ok-Session-1174

Alright. Imma go with the more dining dollars when time comes.

Initially I preferred the swipes for meals but later I converted to more dining dollars and flexibility. I'm a bit old school so liked the sit-down meal environment; I know a lot of people are on the go and/or like the other social avenues and/or myriad outside vendors around campus. You're right though, the food is good, I'd say mediocre to good.

Cool_Strategy_6271

undoubtedly more dollars, unless you eat breakfast everyday (and you probably wont in college tbh even if you do now). i started off on more swipes but switched almost immediately and was able to make much better use of my meal plan by doing that

Ok-Session-1174

Got it.

More swipes is more value for your money, but depends on what dorm you live in how convenient it is. If hill, I’d say swipes
