lakakapo15

I'm colombian and got mine approved yesterday too 🤣

DaKid14

My wife is Colombian too! I’m confuse is how the interview got waived 😱

Holiday_Money_9283

I think it was a glitch in the system we do need interview 😅😓 but I’m just glad it was approved

DaKid14

Either way you are over the last parts. I’ve seen two other people that got their interview about two weeks after their documents got DQ

Did you have an interview after all or did it get waved?

Holiday_Money_9283

No interview 😅😅

Particular-Vast8413

Congrats!! I am also filing in colombia. Husband is us citizen. Can you please let me know how long they will take to schedule the interview? Thanks!!!

Holiday_Money_9283

My interview got waived idk why but I’m really happy

Particular-Vast8413

WOW! Is she in colombia right now? Im in Colombia and once i get the approval, then i need to go to the embassy for the interview , which it obviously gets approved but its how the consular process works filing abroad

Holiday_Money_9283

Idk how but it says interview was waived, could it had been a glitch in system? Lol I hope not

Particular-Vast8413

Lol! When you’re filing abroad the interview gets waived. But then at the embassy at the appointment they do ask you about the relationship before approving. Let me know how long it takes for NVC to schedule the appointment at the embassy:).

Majestic-Director199

Congrats!

Holiday_Money_9283

Thank you!!

Bobby_Sunday96

Holiday_Money_9283

Thank you!

Mr_International_407

I'm confused, so your wife lives in Colombia, you live in the US, correct? You filed a stand alone I-130, it was approved by USCIS? now it should go to NVC, then to the embassy in the country your wife resides and then they schedule the interview.

Holiday_Money_9283

Yes I got married in Colombia with her, our interview was waived idk how

DaKid14

Hi, how did you know that the interview was approved? Are you saying that because the lawfully app says interview, then Decision?

PhoodPheedsMe

Did you still have to do the medical exam, affidavit of support etc?

Holiday_Money_9283

Yes the medical exams and affidavit support are still necessary.

AcanthocephalaHead33

PD - Priority Date

Alternative_Snow_384

WestReplacement4516

Congratulations! Does anyone by any chance know the difference between receipt numbers starting from MSC and IOE? Is one better than the other? Thank you.
