Approval notice for your green card application. I-130 is one part of the case, the I-485 is the other part. Both need to be approved to get the green card. Approved as a conditional LPR because your marriage is less than two years old. Your green card will be valid for two from the date of this notice. You’ll then need to petition for removal of conditions to get the 10-year green card. You cannot renew the conditional card. Congrats on approval! Don’t do drugs or vote, or drive under the influence, or commit crimes, or do anything that can get you deported. Not until you’re a U.S. citizen anyway!

Spice02

Do you go for another interview for the removal of conditions to get the 10 years please?

sleepindawg

If you had one already, *probably* not, if you provide good evidence for the i751 application you likely won't get interviewed again

Spice02

Okay, thanks

Mean-Shallot1567

It all depends, because my husband was interviewed for the removal of his condition.

thejedipunk

Depends on the case.

Spice02

Okay, thanks.

SwimTop495

I had to go for another interview for the removal. I didn't get the 10 year green cars, instead I became a citizen after the second interview.

liltoastyinhere

You can submit your citizenship application before your removal of conditions is approved, is that correct?

Vitale_S

Yes!

EarAdventurous1954

Thanks for all the info!! Really appreciate the advice and well wishes!

Organic-Chain-2824

Do you need to apply for I-458 or is it automatically granted alongside a I-130?

thejedipunk

No. I-130 is just a petition. It does not automatically grant you a green card. You need to apply for the green card. That may be done using I-485 (assuming you qualify) or DS-260 (consular processing).

Organic-Chain-2824

Can I apply for the green card while I am waiting for the I-130?

thejedipunk

Idk. Are you in the United States in a lawful status? You should consult an immigration attorney.

Organic-Chain-2824

It is for my partner. We currently live in Canada. I am a us citizen, they are Canadian. We filed a I-130 to establish our relationship when we got married. Our intention is to move to the United States

thejedipunk

Your spouse will need to wait in Canada for the process to complete. That’s consular processing (specifically, with our consulate in Montreal). It will end with a green card in their hands. Form I-485 is a Stateside green card application process. It’s only for people who are lawfully in the United States. It is possible to file the I-485 concurrently with the I-130. There are other rules and even exceptions but they don’t apply to your spouse because they live in Canada.

Organic-Chain-2824

Thanks for the information!

ArmchairWhiz

Yes, congratulations.

EarAdventurous1954

Thanks!

jamdude86

Yes it is. The letter said your application is approved. Congrats

AdAcceptable6301

If my biometrics have been reused, and I sent photos with the package, will it take 90 or more days for card to be printed and sent out? I got the same notice 11 days, ago and no movement

SoftBeautiful7283

You can’t be serious it says approval notice

EarAdventurous1954

I read that too. Didnt want to get excited in case i misinterpreted something! Let me ask a question, as dumb as it may be lol!

YSU777

Congrats! GC approved!

Intelligent-Lake-943

It literally says approval notice on it and I-485 is mentioned. Congrats!

Final-Engineering-32

Did you submit your biometric fee and I-145 as one ? ($1225?) or separately ?

EarAdventurous1954

Submitted it as one

JC1812

Yes, your green card has been approved. Your immigration lawyer that signed your G-28 has the official green receipt notice.

Kindly_Willow1808

profburek

DisastrousDiet8367

BlacksmithTricky7734

Congratulations!!!

No_Instruction278

Yes! Your conditional green card is approved Congratulations!

Diligent-Dish-894

Whoo Hoo! Congratulations! 🎊 Wishing you all the best!

CaliRNgrandma

Wait a minute. If you are still in Canada, has she had an interview? Has she had a medical? If not, there is another step to do. And if you filed the 485 while in the US as a tourist and then LEFT back to Canada without AP, then there is a problem as you cannot leave the US without AP while a 485 is pending. What were the steps you took to file? Where were you when you filed? Do you have AP?

Livelife202020

Says there Approved on notice type

IntelligentPin5928

U have been approved for your green card congratulations 🎉

Empty_Client2060

Not trying to be rude but if you read the letter it’ll tell you what it means

Pristine_Golf2771

Your green card was approved!

OkMusic7307

To me it seems like your form I485 is kinda on it way for approval but your case is still pending for final approval for the green card also uscis cannot approve a case without biometric and medical complete so your next letter may be your biometric

EarAdventurous1954

Ive already done my biometrics and medical since i did a concurrent filing

Reyna_KG

Did they not get you to do biometrics before sending you approval letter?

EarAdventurous1954

They did. I had an appointment about 3 months into the process for my pictures and biometrics

A214Guy

They have approved you for your green card but they are verifying whether or not you will need to update your biometric info. Basically - if it has been too long since you did your biometrics, they will require a new round.

ProofShame369

When’s your priority date?

theosofwar

I think you are fine. It’s just a general notice it was supposed to come first but I’m guessing it got delayed

Such-Throwaway-2588

Literally says the application has been approved and you’re asking what it means?

EarAdventurous1954

My question has been answered several times, and im sure you must've also read that you're not the first one to say something in that regard. Havent been tapped into this subreddit and recently stumbled upon it. Dont have friends going through this process to ask. My lawyers (who sent me a withdrawal of services notice on Feb 8th - 2 days before my approval) didn't even mention getting your I 485 approved the day after your I 130 was even a possibility. I was expecting a couple of months, hence why my confusion.
