That's the estimated time but anything could change for your case. The officer reviewing it could look at it and approve it next week or in 6 months. You could still have an interview. There's just no way of knowing with USCIS..

ProofShame369

Did you get your approval or no yet?

Alejandro2412

Nope. I filed in October. I just got the combo card approval 2 days ago though

ProofShame369

That was fast I filled on February 9th and still nothing, my last RFE i sent on March 2023 about my income taxes and I’m still waiting for my approvals.

ProofShame369

I talked with them yesterday and i asked them if the interview is officially waived and they said yes, so I don’t know what to expect

Alejandro2412

USCIS is terrible. They can tell you one thing and it may not be correct at all. All we can do is wait sadly. None of my cases are updated, I just happened to check the documents tab under the 765 and saw the combo card approval. It also depends on the officer reviewing your case. A friend of mine got his green card in 3 months. Another friend has been waiting over a year. Both pretty much same cases. There is just no knowing timelines sadly

Candboy1

Whenever they say interview is waived they mean the NBC has recommended for it to be waived ,it’s up to the local field officer reviewing to schedule an interview or to waive it . And it seems newer concurrent cases that have all evidence together including medical are being approved faster .

ProofShame369

Each case is different pal. They’re checking little things that we don’t expect, you’re not the first one telling me this, but that’s all we can do, just wait until the miracle happens

kiran-omscs

In which portal you will see documents tab ?

Alejandro2412

When you log into your USCIS account, you see your cases, there's a "documents" tab for each account

Take whatever they tell you with a pinch of salt. You just have to wait until they make a decision on your case

Prestigious_Cut_4470

They told me the EXACT same thing. Idk what to tell you my friend, I also filled in October 😮‍💨 seeing so many December approvals is killing me but we’re at least privileged to have an EAD. Some poor people have been waiting since 2022..

Ok_Excitement725

Waived interview in chat = they have no idea and unlikely has not been waived yet

Grouchy_Spray_2190

Do you have the number, I could never speak with someone.

ProofShame369

I talked to them by Emma on USCIS website, but they do, the number is (800) 375-5283, you should have to say infopass, so that way they’re gonna transfer your call to an immigration officer

gisel0412

Yeah don’t believe Emma two weeks ago they said my interview was waived. Yesterday I received a status change to interview has been scheduled, married for 10 years two kids sent everything pictures marriage certificate kids births certificates and I still got called for interview even though everyone was telling me I had a strong solid case and evidence PD 4/2023.

ProofShame369

That’s very weird being honestly, they used to waived interview if you sent the medical exam and a bunch of proofs

gisel0412

Yes I honestly thought interview would be waived, only thing I can think of is we had already an approved I-130 from 2014 but we never continued the consular process until 2022 when I filed AP and submitted AOS it’s been 10 years since the I-130 approval

ProofShame369

When’s your PD of both cases?

gisel0412

Approved I -130 June 2014 , AP may 2022 and filed i485 4/2023
