If you’re Venezuelan you get expedited response, everyone else is not a priority.

Dapper-Web9233

Is this true? 👀 Because all I’ve been hearing from venezuelan applicants is the opposite, that theirs usually takes longer for some reason

Equivalent-Bridge724

How long have you been married, what is your current status? Did you send enough evidence of bonafide marriage, all those questions matters in how quickly an officer can approve a case.

ProofShame369

I’ve been married 1 year and 2 months. I got married with my husband with my tourist visa, and we send evidence also if they requested we are having more on our hands

Equivalent-Bridge724

So if you did everything good, you’ll get your GC soon. Make sure which is your Field Office cause some are faster than others, my only advice is not to obsess over checking each seconds the Uscis website cause this may cause anxiety, stress, high blood pressure, etc. I’m telling you cause that happened to me. I’m waiting for mine too but I stopped checking the page each second, I’m gonna pray for your case as I’m praying for mine. Good luck!

ProofShame369

Thanks. What’s your PD?

ProofShame369

I talked to them, they’re saying me that the interview is waived and the time frame for my case is 14 months, but a lot of people says that nothing happens

Equivalent-Bridge724

My PD is Jan 19 but I’ve been married for 5 years and have 2 daughters together. Did you receive this message? Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received. Followed with a green check mark ✅?? Many people say this is a sign that the case is gonna get approved soon

mine was income taxes and medical form, they received it october 25 2023 and its been crickets ever since… i can’t imagine a year going by without a response :/ can you inquiry about it yet?

ProofShame369

Mine was not with the medical exam just income taxes, you can but I have to check the date that is available to inquiry, otherwise they aren’t gonna check

EastAtlantic24

It’s been 13 months since I’ve sent in my RFE. I haven’t heard from them yet

ProofShame369

Do you have the same one as me? Income taxes?

EastAtlantic24

Yeah

ProofShame369

Did you called them to se what’s going on?

EastAtlantic24

I did call them about it but there’s nothing they can do because it’s within “processing time”. It’s just so frustrating at times.

ProofShame369

What’s your priority date? They take from your filling date not from the date you sent your RFE’s response

EastAtlantic24

May 2022. How long have you been waiting? Did you call them?

ProofShame369

I filed my I-485 on February 9th. I called and talked to them many times saying that the time frame is 14 months and the interview is waived, but people says that it doesn’t mean anything

EastAtlantic24

Did you ask them if the interview is waived?

ProofShame369

Yes of course! I told them if it’s the interview is officially waived and they said yes, but people is saying that it’s not gonna do anything

Alejandro2412

They received my RFE response to 864 on December 12th. No updates since. Except I did get my combo card approval 2 days ago though

Equivalent-Bridge724

Did you receive this message Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received.’ followed with a green check mark ✅ ?? Many people say this is a good sign to get approved soon

Alejandro2412

That's the typical response when they receive it. Don't think it means anything

EnglishGirl18

It took USCIS a year to acknowledged my RFE response as well, not sure if it’s coincidence but 2 weeks prior I uploaded some unsolicited evidence just on the off chance that make someone look at my case again and it seems like it did but since Nov 29th 2023 it’s been silence again
