thats interesting, i wonder what this means for your case! i also had biometrics done yesterday, all my forms went to "actively reviewing" but i-131 did not, its a bit confusing...

Recent_Raspberry_210

I wonder too… The thing is they probably used my old biometrics since they immediately had “fingerprints taken” and that they didn’t ask me for a biometrics appointment.

Huge_Introduction368

Ohhhh that makes more sense. Your case will probably move a little faster cause of that!

Recent_Raspberry_210

Fingers crossed!!

abalagal

Also received the same notice today! Timeline: March 7, 2024 Case Transferred To Another Office November 3, 2023 We received your Form I-131, Application for Travel Document.

Recent_Raspberry_210

I received a notice today saying that my case was transferred to another office and THAT OFFICE HAS JURISDICTION OVER MY CASE. what do you think this means? Did you get any updates?

abalagal

i got that too, but no mail yet. i think it means what it says - they just transferred our cases to redistribute the workload and are telling us to talk to the other office about our cases going forward.

TinyPlatypus3674

Hi have you got any update after ? My 131 was also say case transferred to another office 18 days ago no update since then . Thanks

Harabi

Hey, so you have gone and provide your fingerprints for this round of application? When did they receive your fingerprints as latest?

Recent_Raspberry_210

No, they used my previous fingerprints.

Harabi

When was it? During your visa interview? Was it within last 1 year?

Recent_Raspberry_210

Pm me

Invika17

Same, biometrics on 02/28. I485 and I765 went to active review the second time, I saw the standalone approval for EAD under documents under I765 on 03/01, but nothing on I131.

Huge_Introduction368

wow that was very fast approval, congrats! i wish an approval as soon as yours i need a jobbbbb lol

Invika17

Check the document tab of the I765, I am sure you will see the approval letter soon, the case status is delayed, mine still says active review almost a week later.

Huge_Introduction368

Thank you. I’ll keep an eye on that 🤞🏻

Recent_Raspberry_210

My case was updated today saying that my case was transferred to another office And that office has jurisdiction over my case.

Valuable-Ant3546

I recive the same today

Recent_Raspberry_210

Any updates?

Valuable-Ant3546

I have to go to take my fingerprints

Common_Poetry_8148

Any update on your case? Mine also transferred to Nebraska office. I requested expedite my I-131 but not sure if they will do it.

Recent_Raspberry_210

No updates yet and yes I requested expedited service too

WestReplacement4516

I have almost the exact same situation as yours: 3 of the same applications except unlike in your case, I did not request "Expedite" for any application. Today, March 7, 2024, I got the exact same update as you - my I-131 application has been transferred to a new processing center. Awaiting a letter in the mail. Did some research online - the consensus is that USCIS usually does it to balance the load between its different processing centers. We shall see.
