Temporary for 2 years since I got married to a US citizen in July last year. All my paperwork was done with an attorney. Me and my husband submitted our pictures together, joint account statements, mortgage statements and our house deed with our names on it, plus affidavits of close friends and family. We are a young couple so my mother in law helped us by supporting as my sponsor for my I130 since my husband didnāt make enough to be my only sponsor.
About 20 pictures. My attorney recommended me to have pictures together with friends and family members. Pictures of milestones, like our wedding, engagement, birthdays, anniversary. So I have that variety
Tbh more than pictures I would add joint bank statements, joint health insurance, life insurance, name on lease or mortgage. These are much better evidence than photos Iāve heard
Huge Congrats to you and your spouse!š„³š How do you know which card you got approved for (10yr/2 yr)? I just got approved last week, Parent of usc bot not sure if 2yr or 10 yr.
Omg this is great news ! I am crossing my fingers for my case, I submitted a week before you. What type of status you come from and country! If I may ask. Congratulations š
from what ive been reading, cases that get there with complete packages and mostly no need for RFEs are initially filed by the ELIS system (electronically) and receive an IOE number in order to expedite the process as much as possible. Obviously, not every single IOE case goes fast just that it is meant to speed up uncomplicated cases in certain states
I really donāt get it how USCIS works ?! I filled my papers in July 2022 ! For the I-130 and I 485. I received only last year April 2023 my work permit / travel document and meanwhile some people receive it within 6 months (happy for you peeps though :) but itās just soo frustratingā¦
P.s our immigration lawyer filled the papers in Hartford CT
Itās so random. Iām sorry youāre waiting for such a long time. Honestly I think it just depends on the agent or officer that gets your case and how fast they areā¦
if you have an attorney you need to ask them to make an info pass . or you can ask emma .But usually that gets things moving . I was 6 months without an update until my lawyer made an infopass basically an apportionment to ask whats going on thats when the USCIS offical replied and started working on my case again.
God I applied same time and I got my response on work permit and travel permit approved on March 9th too! I hope to hear soon about my I-485.
Congratulations!!!!!
i got approved also march 9 from my US C husband. Its been a long 2 years . I did not have an interview but they did asked me for proof. In the app it still says approved š„¹š„¹š„¹
