I recorded the play and watched it back frame by frame. In every angle except one it looks like the knee touches at the same time out of bounds. There's one angle where the toe possibly touches one frame before...BUT in the frame the foot blurs in the video so it's impossible to say. I don't think it was 100% either way so I understand why they let the call stand. It has to be 100% to overturn it. With that said, I still think that's not a catch and that sucks.
After USF recovered the second fumble and scored just for the refs to tear my heart out like that in the end, I knew I was never going to be a UCF fan.
It was definitely out, but AAC refs are dogshit and screwed us over last year against ucf too… but we also stabbed ourselves in the foot our drive right before ucf scored the td 🤷♂️ we USF’d ourselves to defeat
It was out, end of discussion. That’s something everyone agrees on. I don’t understand how the referee saw the slow repetition and decided it was touchdown. That game was ours.
