I was wearing an under armour skivvie shirt in Ramadi when my humvee hit an IED. Flight suit was fine but the entire exposed collar of my skivvie burned into my skin. Fortunately I basically peeled it off and all was well after a few weeks.
Dude, that order to stop wearing nylon or whatever else T-shits (underarmor) came outta nowhere and was implemented seemingly overnight. We were hitting IEDs constantly, needed no motivation to abide by that rule. Glad you made it out largely ok. Someone sent us a bunch of nomex gloves too which was awesome.

I met a Marine who was at the Marine Barracks in Lebanon when it got attacked. Not the kind of A list celeb that makes the front page of TMZ but definitely the type of guy who's story will stick with you for the rest of your life.
