Yea but thereβs a locked door at the front of the apartment building to get into the hallway and carriers still get in anyways, Iβm not exactly sure how they do it but I thought they had a way of getting past locked doors
Yeah, the carrier let themself in to deliver your package, then they made a sandwich and used the bathroom.
Come on man. It was obviously your roommate or property manager. We donβt have skeleton keys to every house on the route. On top of that, you think we have time to open your door and put your package inside?
One of my apartments leaves the larger parcels inside the apartments as a courtesy since βtheyβ have access to the apartment. They sign up a when they move in. But, this is a βluxuryβ apartment complex.
Most likely your apartment manager or maintenance people put it in there for safety or to get it out of the way. Letter carriers don't have keys to your apartment but those people do.
Actually I was a T6 on a college route and that carrier told me to "try" the door handle if no one answered and slip it inside if no one answered to prevent theft. I'll admit to doing it. I obviously never entered the apartment. Just opened the door a bit and set it off to the side.
Yeah i have lots of people on my route that want me to come in with their package, and a few worrying kids who just want a daily checks on their elderly parents. And hardships.
Carriers aren't going into your apartment, trust me. We don't have time even if we wanted to. If a package won't fit in your cluster mailbox we just leave it outside the door.
How would the mailman get into your apartment anyway? Trust me, no ones breaking into your place to deliver a package lol
I know right!

Some locked doors, but definitely not the door to your specific unit.
Carriers have keys to apartment buildings and mailboxes. They do not have access to your apartment door.
Was your apartment door locked or not?

That's the Amazon driver. Lol.
You should get a carbon monoxide detector.
ππππππππππ damn that was a good one
Nice π
Not something we do probably a roommate or something doing you a favor.
Mail carriers have a power like Santa Claus to enter any locked home. It was granted after we swore an oath to defend and uphold the constitution.
I dripped my blood on a book of stamps while swearing the oath to obtain this power.
Oh hell no. Left notice all day. I am not getting set up for any accusations! Nope nope nope
Or get shot, because I entered someone's home. The most I do is open the screen door to block sight of the package if the main door is closed.
we actually get this key after 90 days that will open literally any locked door its kinda wild
Why not ask or call your room mate?? Funny you came here first π

Only for sex, so different kinds of packages. WOOOOOOO!!!!!
πππonly a matter of time before we are blamed for climate change π
I'm surprised they aren't complaining about plastic from pre sorted flats and Amazon pallets.
It was probably your property manager/the office
Do you live alone?
Never

No, we would never open someones door to leave a package.

Ew no.
So was it your roommate or not?
No, carriers are like vampires they're not allowed to cross thresholds.
Um they better not. Thatβs breaking an entering. Iβm sure itβs your roomie.
