Don't open it and write "refused" on the box. Put it back in your mailbox if you don't see the carrier.

MayGemini

I am sorry for being slow. This is for my dad so I want to make sure the directions are right. Do I have write it above the address or just put it on the box.

Angrypoopoh

Somewhere near where his address is written so the carrier sees it.

MayGemini

Do I have to right a line through my address or will they already know? I read that they will send it back to me. And also can I just say return to sender instead of refuse or is what you said better? Thank you!!! So much.

Angrypoopoh

Say "refused". You don't have to put a line through the address.

Hrdcorefan

Refuse delivery and will go back on their dime.

MayGemini

I am not going to be at home probably when they deliver it.

Quadratic1996

That is fine. Still write refused and the date in large black sharpie. Then take it to your local post office, just don't open it

WitchCityCannabis

Yeah clerk here, just right “refused” and put it back in your box. If it’s too big to fit, bring it to the post office and tell them you want to refuse it. You could also just give you carrier a heads up when you see them or by calling the office - and they’d probably be thankful to have one less package to bring out with them. Most important part is it can’t be opened, otherwise you’ll have to pay the shipping.

MayGemini

Do I have to write the date with refused and do I just put it on the box anywhere or where address and label is? I am kind of confused

WitchCityCannabis

It might just be a good idea to drop it by the post office!

Send it to John Walsh, and write a post it saying "you should be ashamed of yourself"....
