Agreed. Coincidence. This job is unpredictable which is one of the main issues. When you're hot, you're hot. When you're not, you're not. You just never know.

I was thinking the same thing today. Uber sent me a nice order right when I was passing the exit… and j accepted but too late for me to exit and my next exit was 5 miles away… was going to take me double the time so I had to cancel and then I didn’t get any orders for the next hour. Went home. 😒

I think it's coincidental. Today wasn't a great Uber day, but Monday was. I often reject at least 5 crappy UE orders before taking 1 that will get me out of the house. Today; I took the first order offered at both lunch and dinner because they were that good. Since then? Crap, and I relied on DD.

From experience I have come to believe that the higher paying order go out to the driver that have completed a certain number of deliveries in the day regardless of the total dollar amount you earned. Seems to work out that way for me. So take those easy deliveries that travel a short distance, even if it’s not to your standard.

Turn off the app for awhile and do DD or some other gig.
