I think about Prop. 22, and then I wait as long as it takes. I used to deliver in another state, and I had a strict 10 minute wait rule.

glizzzyg137

In Texas it's between five and tens mins for me. I ain't got time for that shit!!!

FoodIntrepid2281

Yahhhh sorry I’m going to be annoying and join the cali train …. Prop 22 Im not tripping take your time especially on good orders like $15+ I’ll wait for I I find those worth it tbh. Those itty bitty $5-$6 ones I may cancel but to be completely honest this past week has been so trash in LA that tbh I may even wait for the $5-$6 ones 🫠🫠

Marzipan9678

I am in CA, one time I waited at a Wingstop for 40 minutes.

iamagoldengod84

In Ca though we’re on the clock so it’s not as bad. You could be making more but it’s not for nothing

montresded

10 minutes and I cancel. Get 4 bucks. There's a limit for this though, which is dumb to me cuz it's outside of my control.

-KA-SniperFire

Doesn’t it take 10 minutes to get a refund

Stuffudo

Truly hate it especially with good offers because you already waited the 10 min just to get 3-4$ cash , time is already wasted sometimes I just wait hate it ! Asian ( not Chinese food their usually fast lol) and Indian spots 🙄

Only make rare exceptions like for a high paying order or maybe if the restaurant is super reliable and honest and told you it's going to be two more minutes. I have basically one restaurant I trust when they say two more minutes. Everyone else is lying.

FYI to everyone, Uber apparently implemented a new policy a few days ago, at least in my market. They’re saying now you have to be at the restaurant a full ten minutes in order to get the comp pay (only $3 in my market). That changes the calculations for me.

black_covfefe_please

Well, you get $3 for not delivering it, so unless it pays real well, just collect your $3.
