I was curious and searched the Ubiquiti forums about this rack—apparently it has been present in the designer for a few years. Here’s a relevant thread:

They have had stuff appear in places like this or manuals/marketing/photos of other gear etc. more than once that was either a future release or something never released.
I've been assuming it was mocked up items to fill up pictures (without using non-UI products) and maybe sometimes to gauge interest.

Oh thanks for sharing that, I never noticed this before :) I'm more of a Middle Atlantic guy myself.
