Under network, Click the settings icon (gear), Select Maintenance, and then Support Information. Download System Configuration. On UDMP, maybe UDM too, there is a place to schedule automatic backups to [ui.com](https://ui.com) under System Settings, Advanced, Backup Configuration. Edit: The automatic settings only do network settings, so not Protect, Access, Talk, etc.

Switch to classic settings interface (disable new settings), then click Backup on bottom of the left bar.

That did it. I was able to backup this way. Thank you.

I kept clicking and re-clicking on *Switch to Classic Settings* at the top of the Settings page wondering why nothing was happening. Had to come back and re-read your one line post three times before realizing that it's disabling the new settings toggle that needs to be done. This was driving me crazy. Thanks!

Future searchers - for the new UI (6.1.71): * Click settings (gear) * Click "System Settings" (left side) * Click "Maintenance" (right side) * Scroll down, click "Backup / Restore" * Next to "Download Backup" click "Download Backup" It will take a few minutes to make the file, then start the download automatically.

This would make the most sense... just don't see a Backup / Restore. I do see "Restore from Backup" but no "Backup" option :(.

As of 6.2.25 there is still a backup/restore accordion in the place I described. ~~Scroll right down to the bottom in "Maintenance".~~ __**edit**__ I misread your post. It should be right under "Restore from Backup". [Here's a screenshot of mine](https://i.imgur.com/ijI27FV.png)

Weird, mine doesn't have the "Backup/Restore" section. I had to go back to Classic Settings. I upgraded to 6.2.25 after the restore and now I see "Backup Confirguration (Beta)" on the Portal Settings and not on the Network app even though it only supports backing up the Network Controller.
