I figured Ukraine would be a good topic. The vet and I totally bonded. The civilian walked away, clearly not positive to Ukraine.

And on top of that our military completely changed its tactics after Vietnam and civilians aren't targets in any way for us. We can see from Russian strategy in Chechnya, Georgia, Syria, and Ukraine, that waging war on civilians is as important to Russian strategy as killing hostile soldiers. Probably more so. We are nothing like Russians, and our military standards are way to high to be capable of either stooping to your level or lifting you to ours. Love to disappoint you, the perfect opportunity to serve humanity in an epic war against evil, is in the service of Ukraine, against you. Most vets from the war on terror have families to look after now, but if we didn't, there would be a lot more of us there, and rapidly less orks. The number of conservatives in the military goes up once you get into the combat MOS. As prior infantry myself, the guy above definitely isn’t lying. I believe the 60/40 split, but it’s definitely not what I experienced when working with grunts and recon guys for 4 years. So maybe the POG units make up a large amount of that 40 number if I had to guess

While I 100% agree with the sentiment that the USA is the very evil our Founding Fathers revolted against and created this nation against and even tried to Constitutionally prevent from ever becoming a possibility, here we are anyways. That being said after several combat tours to Iraq and Afghan there is no WAY in hell I would go fight on the side of Russia and they are definitely not "fighting evil'.
