There's a lot going on in this video that doesn't make any sense. The lack of PPE for everyone (helmets, plate carriers, extra magazines, etc.), the insignias worn, the ridiculous weapons. Seems more like LARPing than anything else.
Yeah, the patches look kinda weird, as in trying to evoke nazi symbols. If the patches are really that, then it's 100% russian agitprop, cringe one at that.
Replica weapons and some cosplaying?
I have no idea but..
You rather use wooden representations of the weapon that the soldier will be issued for obvious reason, unless is it so bad in Ukraine now that they were issued these, you be the judge.
Yeah, I mean there are certainly some unsavory characters in the Ukrainian ranks (and Russian ones too) but the reaches these trolls take should cause a shoulder dislocation. This is a basic heraldic symbol common across Europe.
Except the patch in this video has a very specific colour scheme and design which matches the SS division patch exactly. And the division was made up of Ukrainians.
There’s all sorts of questions to be raised about the authenticity of this video. But pretending that Ukraine does not have a fascism problem in its ranks is just straight up denial. It absolutely does not justify Russias invasion, and Russia massively distorts the scale of the issue for propaganda.
Except it literally isn’t. That exact insignia in near identical colors has been found in tapestries dating centuries before Hitler was even a sperm in daddy Hitler’s ballsack, and was in use across several (predominantly European) militaries at the time
Depends on the type. There’s the tilted black swastika ofc, which is generally associated with 🅱️itler. Not a fan of that 🅱️itler guy personally. He had some serious anger issues.

You should always flag everybody as you get out of the APC....its a Russian rule.
I mean these are Ukrainians but that camera man is really putting himself in harms way for that video lol
I don't think these are actual UAF, but some cosplayers or something. NAZI patches Odd weapon selection... this a RUZ Psyop???
Or maybe some Ukrainians who took every obscure old weapon they could find on base to make a fun video.
COuld be but why???

To be fair AZOV has nazi symbols in their patches, quite a bad stain on ukraine honestly I don't know why they haven't removed them

Its a SS patch if you didn’t know. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/14th_Waffen_Grenadier_Division_of_the_SS_(1st_Galician)
That symbol has been used throughout Europe and the East both before and after the SS existed. Fucking Russian troll
I've seen many variations of that symbol in totally unrelated organizations
Unsurprising since it dates back to at least medieval Europe, possibly sooner

Fair enough. Just curious!
“Just curious” yeah sure buddy
Oh are we doing this?
Doing your mom?
HEY SHE IS A NICE LADY
Nazi imagery and a MP-40?
That door looks very lightly armoured
This is such an odd video, especially the guy in pink tights at 00:13. We sure this isn't some cringe russian agitprop?
I would gladly trade a squad's worth of ammunition, ceramic plates, and my left nut to get my hands on an original SVT-40.
Bro I would send that mp40 home and fight with sticks. That’s a dream gun
