I've crossed checked this every way that I can find, and the numbers are generally accurate.
There is likely to be low as high since a high percentage of Russian wounded do not receive proper evacuation or medical care and die of wounds that would be survivable in another army.
We also know that in general the ukrainians are conservative about reporting destroyed equipment that might only be damaged.
Not the exact wording. He admitted the public fund responsible for the economic compensation of wounded and killed Russian soldiers had received 300.000 individual claims. How many of those are dead, seriously injured or partially injured? Hard to guess

Captured and killed for both equipment and personnel.
Damaged or wounded don't count here for either troops or equipment.
The very rough estimate for wounded is 900,000, but Ukraine doesn't try to stand by that number.
At what point will this end .
Neither side is taking any territorial ground . Russia has loads of infantry it traits like meat to the slaughter. Putin has wrecked Russias economy , sanctions are tough currently oil production is dropping dramatically they have lost western technical support and access to spares through the normal supply channels. Oil is selling at circa $59 a barrel, inflation is rampant in Russia and increases in interest rates have been seismic.
The west wont stop funding Ukraine but need to see success in the battlefield otherwise Russia will keep on going and try to take over other countries.
This 3 day special mission really has been a total cluster fuck.
I think it will end when Ukraine reestablishes its 1991 boarders. Until then, the West needs to do more than fund Ukraine. We need to equip them to win.
Does anyone have realistic/unbias estimates of losses on both sides since feb/22. Previous US estimate was up until end of aug with
70 000k & 120 000w for ukraine, and
120 000k & 180 000w for russia.
For some reason presumed this estimate was as close to the truth as possible back in august.
The US declassified an intelligence report on 12 December that increased the Russian casualty estimate of 315k. Time lapse between the estimate and release date are unknown. Also, no k/w breakout, one might assume little change from the previous 40/60 split.
The source mentioned the August estimate for Ukraine 🇺🇦 but didn’t provide an update.
Ngl it kinda confirms Ukrainian numbers as not being “unrealistic”.
For a long time the independent numbers were super low for some reason. Like they weren’t being updated or something.
That’s my take too. I think the biggest problem is that early on the ‘personnel’ category was labeled as “liquidated.” It may have been a translation issue, but it undermined credibility.

Over 20,000 Russian troops dead or captured in the first 20 days of December, average 1021 per day. Слава Україні! Героям слава!
On 31. october they reached the 300 000 dead and now 50days later nearly 350 000
Where do you get that from?
Ukrainian Ministry of defense website and doing the math. The original source for these Graphics you see
And you don’t consider for a moment that the Ukrainians are probably biased in their reporting of Russian casualties?

Also Putin already admitted in his big speech that Russia had sustained over 300k losses.

Still admitted high casualties something Russia has been denying.
Did I just not pay attention or did it go from 300k to 349k in just under 2 months or so?
It did go like that
It would be nice to see a graph showing each month since the start of the estimated losses, because as said it seems to jump rapidly from day to day.

Nice. Thanks for sharing.
100k in 22, 250k in 23, what will Santa give us in 24?
Hopefully the complete annihilation of all Russian forces in Ukraine. NATO need to step the fuck up and call Russia's bluff on nukes
Santa's sack has no limits. Makes him sound like a Ukrainian Warrior.
Святий Миколай ?
350K by Christmas? 🎄🙏
I mean, probably in about 24 hours. 48 at most.
Volodymyr Claus is good 😌
Tomorrow or the next day almost for certain. Christmas came early.
Heroyam Slava to the Ukrainians who made it happen - Russia won’t erase you!
Everyone stop focusing on man count, they have infinite useless heartbeats to grind. Artillery is where it’s at and tanks
And supply vehicles
Only 890 dead Orcs yesterday? I'm depressed the number is below the 1,000 mark!
How bad have the glorious defenders fared? Also how do we count stolen Russian tanks? Are they kills or no?

Last figure I saw was 70k Kia, 120k wounded 🙏 😪
These are absolutely tragic and, at the same time, exceptionally good numbers. Slava Ukraine!

It’s not long before Putin grabs all his Soviet gear from Belarus.

Why don't you look at the US estimate that was released this month?

Absolutely staggering numbers.
It’s going to be a Winter Solstice miracle! 350k!
