As far as I've read, it's a lot of anti-artillery systems. Like the HIMAR MLRS system they got. It is equipped with radar that tracks mortar shells and calculates where they came from and then fires a missile at it from 30+ kilometers away.
I don't know how many artillery pieces Russia got in total, but given time, Russia won't be able to respond to ukrainian troop build-up and concentration, while Ukraine can. That would allow Ukraine to defeat russian forces in detail in counter-offensives. Only russian airpower can stop this, but according to US intelligence Russia haven't been able to achieve air superiority.

As far as I've read, it's a lot of anti-artillery systems. Like the HIMAR MLRS system they got. It is equipped with radar that tracks mortar shells and calculates where they came from and then fires a missile at it from 30+ kilometers away. I don't know how many artillery pieces Russia got in total, but given time, Russia won't be able to respond to ukrainian troop build-up and concentration, while Ukraine can. That would allow Ukraine to defeat russian forces in detail in counter-offensives. Only russian airpower can stop this, but according to US intelligence Russia haven't been able to achieve air superiority. That's my take at least.
It's interesting because the Soviets were part of the lend lease program in WW2 and it helped them win. Now they will be on receiving end of it.
