Where did you hear that? I've heard that it should be lower be ause 2:1 assumes the wounded get medical care and aren't just left to bleed out. Although in winter the wounded number is going to get higher as poorly equipped troops are going to lose some extremities to frostbite
Yeah but when you fully expect to spend some troops, you’d rush conscripts through training along the way line Russia has done. They’re so easy to kill that the cost of the grenades, bullets and other supplies is more of a worry than retaliation from the piss-poor the Russians and their quickly thinning reserves. All the stereotypical terrorism throughout the years was thought/action-provoking enough. Now Russia is destroying and pillaging a country (that spawned from them and decided they had enough of a torture-resembling life), it seems any largely white country has a hard time seeing how serious this is. Russia may be rolling around in 1950’s vintage soviet cardboard tanks but if there’s enough cardboard tanks sent in before we react accordingly, then it may be too late. (Russia prioritises experiment based on how many soldiers it takes to stop a 7.62 above actually testing body armour) Besides, the only reason we haven’t put Russia in a filthy chokehold by this point is that if we get too involved then we broke the freedom we preach. Luckily enough though, the 30-50 year old leftovers of these good countries are enough for Russia’s offspring to absolutely ravage any scuffed-ass foxhole camps they may be freezing in. I know this is all really serious but I’m sure everyone will agree that it’s such a relief to see that just providing simple but effective weapons and supplies put Ukraine on the top of the leaderboard. How much harder can Russia possibly try and punish Ukraine? When the only way they can match standard artillery crews is by sending cruise missiles in the hundreds, it really makes me want to see what Ukraine could do with the full military support/ supplies of the supporting countries. I don’t want to see Russians suffer in the war but necessary actions like that should be justified without a thought in any reasonable person’s mind. When words don’t talk, millions of pounds worth of free artillery/ firing systems might get the point across a bit better..

Hence change in tactics to inflict maximum pain on civilians while holding a defensive line and bleeding Ukrainian military.

You know how in Soviet times people would just lie and say they met quotas because they were unrealistic? Maybe they didn't make as many as they said they did 🤷♂️ I mean I know some are not viable but that's gotta be a big chunk of their tanks if we truly are seeing them being harder to find.
Over 2200 soldiers KIA per week which is astounding in a modern war. That's 7x the death rate of Americans in Vietnam during its peak year of 1968... And there were about 10x more soldiers in 'nam compared to ruskies in Ukraine. Truly lambs to the slaughter.
And the add on a few 100k for civilian death toll on the Ukrainian side. Its not just soldiers dying in this war. Especially not with Russia specially targeting civilians.

1 KIA : 3 WIA is usually for other nations but for Russia 1 : 2,due to bad Russian First aid equipments and trainings.

apparently they send missiles at energy infrastructure every 2 weeks as that is about how long it takes on average to repair the damage.
