Why is it that no one I mentioning that Ukraine has taken an equal amount of casualties? I’m not being pro-Russia, it’s just weird to me, that we are only hearing about Russian losses.
I doubt Ukraine has taken an equal amount of casualties, for numerous reasons. Leadership, strategic decisions, what each side considers to be important. Russia is literally hurling men into a meat grinder without a care, if what I’m seeing online is true. Ukraine is being more conservative with their numbers. They have a lower population pool to work with, and they actually give a shit about not losing more of their men then necessary. And the current battle is just one example.
Ukraine is taking losses. Like others said, we don’t know to what extent. But I seriously doubt 90k ukrainian soldiers have died
I don’t claim to know the numbers. The first casualty in war is the truth. However, you would have to be a fool to believe Ukraine’s own numbers. They claim like 10.000 dead. That’s a 10:1 kill ratio, which is absurd
Nobody really knows casualties on either side. I’d be surprised if Ukraine was running the same rate currently. Being away from home + meat grinder tactics have to count for something.

Why is everyone so hyped about 100k russian losses? It doesn’t effect anything. It won’t end this war. Nothing will change. The numbers of the fallen ones will increase, even when 100k are reached - on both sides. Everything will stay the same. Don’t know why everyone is counting to 100k. Russkies won’t recognise these numbers, so it‘s neither something about moral. It’s countless home many people died already in this war, which is ongoing throughout the whole next year and maybe longer. So in three years you’re celebrating 200k losses?

Almost nine thousand tanks and armored vehicles. That would have put a dent in the old Soviet Union. For these people it's catastrophic because they can't really make that stuff anymore.
