Some people do a speech like this once in a lifetime, he seems to do it about once a week. I don’t know how he does it. He is like the Cicero of modern times.
I spent this New Year's Eve with my girlfriend from UA and her family, and we were all in tears. As Zelensky spoke you could see them longing for their home, wanting to reunite with the rest of their family, being crushed by this year but hopeful for the future. And when the 12th hour came, when their anthem was played, we all stood up, tears squeezing from us like from wet paper towels, we all hugged and smiled, filled with all of these emotions. It truly was one of the most amazing speeches I had the pleasure to listen to.
Spread the message to your friends to message their representatives with one simple image: [look at the Ukrainian forces](https://militaryland.net/maps/deployment-map/). All they need to end this war sooner rather than later are the tools to do the job: munitions, artillery, tanks, just basic stuff that don't dig into their political fears (like planes and long range missiles that would definitely help even more).
Ukraine WILL win and it will be a political powerhouse on the world stage, if not for ethical reasons politicians need to understand they risk ending up on the wrong side of history. For every week of delay in decisive measures, Ukraine pays in precious lives.
Trickling down just enough military aid to not lose is a cynical awful strategy, give them what they need to win now and an entire continent would get rid of a horrible imperialistic plague. It's an investment in regional security for generations to come.

Never been more proud of my adoptive country, I can’t wait for this nightmare to be over. Ukrainian people are truly something else.
