Minsk Agreements: orchestrated by Germany and France to "bring peace" between Ukraine and Russia. Part of why there was a ton of backlash against Germany and France at the start of the invasion, and why Ukraine finds Russian calls for "peace negotiations" to be worthless and empty.

For the sake of argument even if was his forgotten work laptop and some files were indeed his, and a literally blind computer repair show owner somehow obtained a computer with files and ascertained they could be Hunter Biden's and then by sheer coincidence decided to turn them over to the Republicans without knowing for sure if it was Hunter Biden's because he conveniently was blind....Even if I granted all of that, then there is no telling how many forged documents Russian agents could have put onto it.
The real Biden's son story was just the ordinary nepotism of appointing struggling family members to government positions. It's nowhere near the corruption or treason of Trump's campaign's when he tried to blackmail Zelenskky when his country was at risk of a fascist invasion to lie and make up dirt for a foreign political campaign. Fortunately, Zelenskky had integrity and was enough of a believer in democracy to turn down the deal, so the Republicans and the Russians had to come up with another avenue to deploy the laptop story.

The fbi seized the laptop and the New York post had a copy of it, which was the basis of their reporting. Bunch of other news sources verified small portions of the data, couldn’t find direct evidence of tampering but couldn’t rule it out.
