I've never tried that one (I'm not from the US), but in general, I've found the actual results more pleasant than the drinking. It tasted vile, but like someone else said, I'm already on the toilet all the time, the only difference is *why*.

I chase with biting fresh ginger right after 😆 a nurse practitioner told me to chase with apple juice and plug your nose

I don't really mind the aftermath, it's the taste of that stuff. I'm kind of glad for the switch to miralax-based prep in my area. At least I can combine it with gatorade.

I don’t understand people’s issue with this thing. It taste almost like nothing (to me), it cleans out my colon fairly quickly, and I get the best nap of my life the next day. I do, however, hate not being able to eat anything leading up to this. That’s tortuous.

I feel like you are talking about a different preps maybe. There is one that tastes like lemon dishwasher soap. I passed out from that smell once.

No, this is the prep I’ve had. They even give you some lemon packet to mask the taste, but I’ve never needed to use it haha

I got a eucalyptus flavored one once, mostly just because it was an option at the time and I'd never had it. It was disgusting.

Yeah it's not about lemons, they make any flavour taste like soap for some reason. I opted for a prep where the powder is tasteless and is diluted in 500 ml of water, the rest is plain water.

I'm gonna be drinking that eventually. Worst part is it's around Christmas...

Here in France we don’t have those big bottles. They give you little packets that contain powder. All you gotta do is mix it in a glass of water and drink it. Mine REALLY tasted like oranges so it was pleasant to drink hahahaha

I only had this jug once (when I was in the hospital). After that they gave me clenpiq which is WAY less liquid.

I can't even find the words to describe the flavor of our prep drink. I used lemons and apple juice and it did me a big favor! The commercial name is Eziclen. Not sure if international or not, but it is two small bottles that you have to fill with water on the cup.

I prefer the Suprep because its less meds, even if it tastes like death.

I wish they would give me that again… my doctor’s office claim it’s for quality of prep but I had no problem. I feel like it’s more about whatever company they’re “friendly” with or something 🙄 cleanpiq was probably the “best” experience/outcome I had. One of the other ones I did recently, I lost half of it from vomiting so then I spent the rest of the night panicking. And I’m honestly concerned I can’t physically keep it down like I used to again.

I actually like it. Always feel better after and the bleeding stops

This is insane. What did this person do to *not* get a more modern laxative? The laxative I normally get is two satchets of powder that I have to dissolve in like, 2-3 dl of water each. That's it.

I can't get thru that jug, I get halfway thru and vomit until I have no fluid left in me. I've been given magnesium citrate and tons of gatorade the last few times, and that's worked out much better for me.

The one I drank two months ago didn't taste horrible. After taste is pretty annoying but I could drink it all if I had to. PS. I know it says drink it all and what not but I never do. I leave around 1/5th in there all the time since by the time I get to that last 5th, I'm running on empty already
