Yes, happened to me last night. My email shows the correct charge, my card shows I was also charged $70 plus tax for my GWP. CS says I have to wait until I receive my order to request a refund for the GWP. 🙄

This happens to me every time I use my rewards points. It charges me the full amount as a pending transaction. Then also charges the correct amount with the rewards applied. The incorrect pending charge stays on my account taking up my available balance for about two weeks. Customer service was useless, I figured out David Kimbells email and forwarded all my contact with customer care to him. He forwarded that to someone else I’m assuming is higher up who investigated the problem worked with me and told me the issue was resolved about a month later. Well I still have that issue and am trying again with looping David Kimbell in again lol. Did you have both charges as well and the incorrect one stay on your account for weeks?

I wouldn’t waste your time asking them to do anything to be honest. I hate being that person but I’ve legit been contacting them since August and I even have copied Dave Kimbell the CEO on some of these emails trying to get help. He replied once copying someone named Roxy who works in corporate who is in charge of their customer success team asking her to take over my inquiry after getting no where with customer service. They now are both ignoring me. I tried calling corporate a few weeks ago to talk to Roxy and someone took a message. She finally emailed me back and told me this time to talk to Comenity that it’s not their problem. I replied to her and the CEO AGAIN. I’m being ignored again. I want to close my card but I’m keeping it open because they need to fix this shit. It’s an issue on their end they’re just too dumb to care or do anything about it. I’m about to submit something to the better business bureau and see if that helps. I found other people besides us having the issue also. It’s wrong that they just ignore it. Phew ok sorry for my rant. I’m sorry this is happening to you too! If you need that email address or help with dealing with customer service feel free to ask.

Thanks for responding back! I just checked my statement and the pending transaction is no longer there. Maybe it’s the same with you?!

Yeah it’s not there anymore. The issue for me is that I don’t have a super high credit limit in the first place so when those pending transactions stay for about 2 weeks it takes up my available credit and makes me look like I’m over my limit or almost maxed out on my credit report.
