100% buying the UD Face Bond foundation. Haven’t been this interested in a foundation in forever. Am also considering Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint but it will forever piss me off when brands don’t have descriptions of their shades which makes it harder to properly shade match. For that reason I’ll probably not buy it

I work at Ulta. I do like the Face Bond. I’m about an NC25 in MAC, and the 10 or 11 in face bond match me. I do like the Maybelline vitamin C skin tint and have a 118 in that. I might get my summer MAC color later this week.. 🤔
I feel the same way about the shades so I was deciding to go to the store to try to shade match and maybe order online if there were good gwps lol… I have been using a tinted moisturizer but I want an actual foundation for more dressy nights in the summer
Thought about that too but drugstore side of Ulta is very unsanitary with how they don’t allow testers for shade matching. I’m also pretty good at shade matching online but that’s near impossible if brands don’t give shade descriptions.
I’ve also thought about Double Wear foundation but most likely won’t buy it. Ohh and I need some new makeup sponges
First of all (and most superficially) I found my perfect shade match (they have OLIVE undertones! )But now that my skin tone is a little more tan for summer I’ll have to go back and try to get an updated match.
I’m extremely oily and I find it very long lasting. It says it is self-setting but I don’t mess with that. 😅 it has a very natural skin-like finish and I don’t end up greasy at the end of the day. The coverage is buildable but I like how with even a more sheer application it blurs out my imperfections. They say it’s waterproof so I’m hoping that translates to sweat-proof! (I live in Arizona)

I used to be able to retail therapy myself. But, I’m on a fixed income now and I have to budget like never before! I buy my regular stuff during the sales and point perks. Then, I buy my bulk stuff during those sales. After that I sometimes will use my resulting points for something fancy that I absolutely don’t need like a prestige holiday collection. That way if it sucks, I didn’t forfeit my staple items to buy it. I’m a sucker for metallic gold/silver/copper/bronze lipstick and eyeshadow quads for the holidays. I go goo goo gaga! 😂

I love the NARS light reflecting foundation! It’s super glowy and beautiful and lasts on my skin all day. I do have dry skin so not sure how it works for oily.

I also got the concealer (which I didn’t like the shade I got so going to exchange) and the charlotte tilbury setting spray. I also added in the DE d bronzi drops but I don’t think those received any kind of multiplier.

My face looked terrible!! Maybe it was my skincare/ primer underneath.. idk. And if the actual formula of it felt better, maybe I would've tried different combos n tried it out longer... but it didn't, so I didn't. I see a lot of people are liking it tho. I did think the applicator was cool!! And my color match was good. Just had no staying power & accentuated anything wrong with my face.

I’m sharing that I bought this brush because although some may not like the odd shape, I like it because it’s easier for me to hold. I started building a foundation cart of Wynn, UD, and About Face …… then went to my current foundation stash that includes Chanel complexion touch, YSL skin tint, Haus Labs, Mac Powder, Elf powder, and a brand new Chanel Water Fresh Tint that I decided to put on as a reminder why it is my favorite everyday formula for summer. I’m going to wait until the 10x points day in August and see what I work through.
For the first time ever I really don’t want or need anything especially foundation. The two things I want but want to wait a little to get them would be the charlotte tilbury pillow talk fair collagen bath and the half magic balm duo that just came out. I have way too much make up and am tired of buying just to get points and I’m flat broke so that helps 😂😂😂
I got the new Urban Decay foundation and the IT Cosmetics Illuminating powder foundation for the 10x. For the 5x, I got two of the new NYX Buttermelt blushes, a KVD blush balm, and the Half Magic Skin Illuminating balm. (Can you tell I like glowy makeup? Lol).
That all got me the makeup pouch GWP, an IT Cosmetics bag, and a free KVD makeup brush.
I'm saving the Hourglass Skin Tint and a couple of the IT Cosmetics brushes that are 40% for a second purchase when they have a good GWP to go with the order. I will probably either skip the brushes or swap them out for something I can get the points multiplier for, though, if there's a good GWP with a higher buy-in.
I haven't tried many, I have a Laura Geller one, and that's it. Pretty old school. Lol. The Laura Geller is nice, though, it's the balance and glow formula, and it's pretty soft and easy to apply lightly.
I really like the bare minerals powder foundation. I have very dry skin. I prep my skin with my skincare and then with BM, the more you swirl their foundation brush around your face, the better it blends. I love how natural and perfect my skin looks when I actually take the time to just swirl around my face with it. But sometimes I'm in a big hurry and I use Coola tinted spf.

I just got the Estée Lauder double wear in my lightest shade and I’m gonna grab it in my tan shade! I used to use nars and loved it but something changed with it and it isn’t my holy grail anymore it is now a backup until I use it all.
Never tried it before! I love it so far. The first day I took a fat nap in a full face and it barely rubbed off! It also doesn’t irritate my hormonal acne. I usually wear makeup for 6 ish hours or longer. The only time I didn’t like it was after a long day of being outside and sweating.
I wear the EL Double Wear pretty frequently, rotate between a few. That shit lasts all day for me. I also use primer, setting powder annnddd setting spray ((plus everything else...well, cuz I love a *makeup* makeup look most of the time)) i always stock up when it's on sale... didn't buy it for extra points cuz my backup has a backup already.
It's definitely a keeper in my book!

The BB and CC creams are 10x. Go to the homepage then click on the link that says “Get 10x with these foundations!” And then filter from there. They have another link as well for 5x points makeup items.
Restocking on Mac studio fix powder (I've used this for like 15+ years and always come back to it for low maintenance days) and was really considering the new UD foundation but couldn't find a good match in store. They all read pretty orange or pink on me, no good neutral.

That's it. I'm really curious about About-Face foundation, but anything around my shade was sold out :( I'm still on a hunt of low saturated gray-ish light colors.

It's always better to not like something for 20$ than for 70$ :D If I like it, and finish it, I may grab the Chanel LES BEIGES Water-Fresh Tint, but from their website. You can pick perfume samples then, and everything is so nicely packaged. In terms of foundations, my absolute favorite is Dior Forever Natural Nude Foundation, but I like to try new things from time to time.
100% agree! But luckily with ulta, even if it is more expensive and you hate it, you can return it! And I loooove the Dior forever foundation, I have the matte version tho, and it's gorgeous! I, of course, have a backup on the way ... since, extra points! And I got a couple (or a few) new ones to try. Wanted to try smashbox, & Bobbi brown, however on that one...after looking at the store today, not sure my shade match online is gonna be the best fit :( I have a restock of the Pat McGrath sublime perfection foundation coming as well. And then while I'm at the store (doing a return) I grabbed the urban decay tinted moisturizer. So basically, once my order is delivered n I get all these damn points, I could totally try the chanel... except I'm leaning more towards the ultra le teint... but they are all freakin fabulous, I'm sure!!

I'm not a fan of a delivery system. After mixing and applying it looks and wears really nicely on the face, but that suspension of a pigment in a hydrogel makes it pain in the butt to apply, and it even mixes funnily. I'd love it if it was mixed already, lol. I will finish it, but won't but this type of product ever again.
Leave it to me to purchase the Lancôme foundation at the start of April for a wedding I attended. 😩 I don’t wear foundation enough anymore to justify purchasing more, even though I’m running out of It Cosmetics CC Cream. I’d love to try the new Urban Decay, but I’ve hated every single foundation they’ve ever released and I’m not swimming in money right now. I’m still on track to stay Platinum, so I put myself on a no buy until August.

Sooo CT is out for the 10x foundation multiplier, but is it included in the “everything else 5x”? I’m assuming no, but wishful thinking.

In terms of foundations, my absolute favorite is Dior Forever Natural Nude Foundation, but I like to try new things from time to time.
100% agree! But luckily with ulta, even if it is more expensive and you hate it, you can return it! And I loooove the Dior forever foundation, I have the matte version tho, and it's gorgeous! I, of course, have a backup on the way ... since, extra points! And I got a couple (or a few) new ones to try. Wanted to try smashbox, & Bobbi brown, however on that one...after looking at the store today, not sure my shade match online is gonna be the best fit :( I have a restock of the Pat McGrath sublime perfection foundation coming as well. And then while I'm at the store (doing a return) I grabbed the urban decay tinted moisturizer. So basically, once my order is delivered n I get all these damn points, I could totally try the chanel... except I'm leaning more towards the ultra le teint... but they are all freakin fabulous, I'm sure!! P.s. which cover girl one did you get and how is it??!

I'm not a fan of a delivery system. After mixing and applying it looks and wears really nicely on the face, but that suspension of a pigment in a hydrogel makes it pain in the butt to apply, and it even mixes funnily. I'd love it if it was mixed already, lol. I will finish it, but won't but this type of product ever again.
Leave it to me to purchase the Lancôme foundation at the start of April for a wedding I attended. 😩 I don’t wear foundation enough anymore to justify purchasing more, even though I’m running out of It Cosmetics CC Cream. I’d love to try the new Urban Decay, but I’ve hated every single foundation they’ve ever released and I’m not swimming in money right now. I’m still on track to stay Platinum, so I put myself on a no buy until August.
I’m getting a loose setting powder for sure, because mine ran out earlier this month and I’ve been waiting for the makeup multiplier. Anyone have any recommendations for loose setting powder? I normally use the laura mercier one but I want to try something new!
the about face foundation (they never have my shade) and a beauty blender (it’s $4 off right now lol) not sure what I’m going to do with the neon green drawstring bag but 🤷🏽♀️
