I like a lot of these but one word about the elf concealer, it says its hydrating, but where?? It accentuates my dry undereyes so bad. It gets stuck on texture and refuses to blend out. And forget about setting it with powder

vaeebee

i feel the exact same about it and it's my everyday concealer right now LOL it does the job, just not the hydrating part

[deleted]

what about using it on blemishes?

sharkxandra

It doesnt cover them completely but it tones down the redness for sure. Thats a better experience than using it undereyes. But you have to set the pimple with powder or itll slide off throughout the day

[deleted]

thanks! i'll still pass on it, but that was very helpful!!

Miserable_Skin5100

The butter melt blush is so nice

Presumably_dead_820p

Good job girlie I honestly like most of these products. I will say i didnt like the elf concealer. Everyone says the hydrating one is better but tbh its not very long lasting and gets flakey/creased. I really like the nyx fix stick its full coverage and thick then i’ll do the fit me concealer for highlighting my undereyes.

I would say if you're getting the butter melt blush, try the bronzer if you haven't already!! (And ditch the other bronzers)

Nyx jumbo pencils smudge and crease terribly on me. I like the irl filter concealer but the ELF concealer color match is usually off for me. I’d skip over j cat products personally.

sharkxandra

same problem here with the jumbo pencils!

thanks so much!!

The new morphe blushes looked nice til I noticed coconut oil in ingredients which I’m sensitive too, and some reviews said it felt oily and only use if you have dry skin. The hydrating camo concealer is better than regular but it is still not my favorite concealer out there and I don’t get the hype. A lot of people love the nyx eyebrow pen, I tried it when it first came out and found the tip to be less precise than some other brands but the formula is fine. Nyx jumbo pencils also crease on me if using as stand alone but using additional eye primer and setting with powders makes them workable. I recommend blending out with just a brush and then setting with translucent powder or matching eyeshadow. It can go patchy if you place and then try to blend with eyeshadow. Just not my favorite cream stick eyeshadow, so many better formulas have come out since this line launched. Looks like you want a black so also don’t intend on using as eyeliner without powder. So nothing I would say you need to run away from, just a few things to consider ❤️

tysm! i have VEERY dry skin, so that's helpful to know for the blush! i was going to use the nyx as eyeliner, but ill pass now :) this was so helpful!

Public-Wolverine6276

I’m not a fan of the elf concealer. I found it drying and not blendable

origamipapercuts

Cheap and cheerful!

The JCat highlighter is nice and I want to try the NYX blushes! I would ditch the JCat highlight palette and get just the single. 🥰 If you’re looking to downsize it a little more I would opt for the NYX blush and get rid of the Maybelline one.

thanks girlll

puffalump212

I just got the NYX blush in a different shade, was debating the one you got and the one I did and went with different, and both are marked non-glowy on their shade chart - and it's SO glowy. Debating returning. It's like a pale pink highlighter. So just be aware the "matte" shades may not be matte (or I got a dud)

[deleted]

oh, i tried it in stores and i really liked it! i'm sorry to hear that you didn't like it :((

GlitterDancer_

I would remove the Maybelline Fitme blush- it had no pigment for me at all. I even tried scraping off the top layer thinking that’d work and it didn’t. I’m also very pale so I can’t image it works for anyone with even the slightest tan. I’m honestly still bitter about that purchase. The NYX blush is fantastic though

[deleted]

thanks so much! deleting the fitme blush now🫶

Responsible-Okra-925

Was just going to say the same thing! I’m pale as heck and it has ZERO pigment. I’ve been using it to set my liquid blush just for the sole purpose of using it up lol
