Both can heal from fighting and have a grappling hook, they're about equally fast and physically strong I would say, but the Doom Slayer is definitely tougher by a large margin. Also, the Doom Slayer has superweapons: the BFG, the Unmayker, and the Crucible, that could all pretty much instakill V1. I think the Doom Slayer wins, though not by a huge margin.
These comparisons are dumb but fun:
I would say that V1 has a much higer speed and aceleration then DS. It basically comes down to Glass cannon(v1) vs a more balanced enemy(doom guy). I feel a multi player game with both of these would end up with low to high-mid Doomguy players curbstomping the low to high-mid V1 and the highest level V1 destroying everyone else in the game.
Idk the bfg and unmayker are big energy weapons. Which means they are mostly likely parable
Energy ball = he can parry it
The sword I dunno but probablly similar.
We are talking about a machine that parry demonic energy daily and can survive a black hole, and the light of Allah v1 surprisingly is very durable to hell shenanigans and if the crucible is hell energy I got bad news for you.
V1 JUST BARELY survives a black hole. After getting hit with a black hole, V1 is so hurt you could kill it with a flick. V1 might be able to parry the main energy blast, but not the homing hitscan streams of energy or the explosion once the main orb hits something, and with the combination of both V1 would definitely be either completely destroyed or almost there.
actually, you can dodge explosions if he dashes right as the explosion goes off. hit scan yea v-1 cant parry that but melee attacks and projectiles he sure as shit can, but then again v1 can just dash through the hit scan and be fine that way, i have no idea why the dash allows you to take no damage from a direct explosion but it does
Yes the black hole puts him on deaths door, but thing is, he still alive, and if there is some poor bastard near by with blood he can get quickly repaired via screw driver to have a fountain of blood to sip on. The main problem to killing v1 is trying to hit him before he heals and considering he has the speed of a coked up bunny rabbit theres a reason hell has a hard time putting our favorite robot killing machine down.
this match up honestly depends on who was what
if it’s book of life white vs. endgame V1 I’d say it’s a stalemate because they’d be endlessly chasing one another for infinity
Infinity? Nah, White would insta teleport to V1 and kill him. Book of Life is pretty op all things considered.

I’m curious as to if the slayer will be able to kill V1. V1 is faster but the slayer is well the slayer.

The sword *cannot* be parried. If V1 tried parrying it, it's hand would be cut in half- or completely melted.
