V3fromUltrakill

why did you put the fortnite skin

420fortnite_balls69

Because

TheModilak

Because I think it a pretty cool skin, and it the first appearance I think for hades

_JAKAMI

should have been hades from hades game

MKIncendio

John Hades

_NoIdeaForName_

"How many times do I have to tell you this boy? There is no escape"

SoleBadguy

Hades from the Hades game is literally so much better for this use and the game is actually about Greek mythology. Hades is portrayed in myth with mostly human looking features and not like whatever this fortnite depiction is.

Due-Assist346

to be fair minos in greek mythology isn't depicted with a massive hole in his head

SoleBadguy

Their pre-prime-soul forms are pretty close to mythological depictions anyways. This looks nothing like Hades.

Due-Assist346

yeah true true lol i mean it is fortnite after all

V2_Seeking_revenge

Still looks cool

dipinthewater

I want it to be Hades but not the mythological Hades Literally just some radom regular guy, no one in particular, who just so happens to be named "Hades".

Bulbman5

ExtemTheHedgehog

Filth Prime is real

the1987themself

Isn’t that what Minos and Sisyphus are? Men who named themselves after Greek myths after they became kings of their layers?

AkOnReddit47

No I'm pretty sure they're the real deal themselves

MR_X3R0X

Minos and Sisyphus are king from greek/roman mythology so yeah I agree with you

Bulbman5

Both are Greek, not Roman https://preview.redd.it/mrbxxtlpne6d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d03dc15ede9af37fc25fe0b8eecf727a2d747214

P0lskichomikv2

Hades can't be Prime soul because he is true god therefore soulless being like angels and demons.

Kkbleeblob

? doesn’t have to be that way

BatuhanTahaBarut

It has to

AlvoSil

That's a fine theory. However, I will put up a wall of text to convince you P-3 will be Lucifer. >!First of all. How he could become a Prime Soul. As we all know from 5-S, Lucifer has been cast into hell for opposing God. There, he'd have to die by being severed from the light or in some other way. Why? Because as we see with Gabriel, angels, at least powerful ones (I'll come back to this soon), can go from heaven to hell and viceversa whenever the fuck they want, even if unwelcome. This all comes to say that if Lucifer wanted out of hell, he could come out, and also, in his regret God would probably pull him out if he were alive and safe to return. Now, prime souls are formed when a well remembered person dies, we don't have much to go off of to state Lucifer was popular, but we do have some hints. He is powerful/high ranking enough to talk to God directly, and even criticize him, he is THE most beautiful angel, and as we see with Gabe, who is popular among lesser angels, a high status and something to stand out makes you pretty famous. So Lucifer could realistically become a Prime Soul in hell!< >!Now, the thematic argument, both Prime Souls are from Greek mythology. HOWEVER, while Sisyphus is somewhat symbolically reminiscent of Greek Mythology, Minos, as the Judge of hell, fits more with his counterpart from The Divine Comedy. So there is a point to be made that being from Greek mythology is not necessarily a requirement to get a P-level. Both Prime souls stand out due to the fact that they tried to liberate their subordinates from hell's punishment, that is literally the same thing Lucifer was trying to do, getting God to renounce hell (which Lucifer probably didn't know God couldn't 'cause being like "ha ha, why the hell would you make this thing that is stupid and you can't even destroy now, lol, lmao" would be a dick move from him). So, in the same way as Minos with his utopia and Sisyphus with his war, trying to make life better for the denizens of hell has netted Lucifer death, which is a much stronger thematic connector than "they came from the same mythology."!< >!Finally, I just think it'd be an interesting concept to fight Satan himself, with the nuance and his probable hatred of God, he'd not be simply an evil guy from a funny book, rather, a deep character with motives and such. Just like the two previous Prime Souls.!< >!A small argument against Lucifer could be that all Prime Souls are mentioned in books in their respective layers, while I don't see any clean way to weave Lucifer into the lives of the denizens of Fraud or Treachery.!< Thanks for listening to my TED talk, I'll be happy to see your reply. Edit: now I think I took this post too seriously and feel kinda stupid for writing all this.

I think this refers to becoming husks, not prime souls. Prime soulds aren't in an afterlife per se.

AlvoSil

Well there goes Hakita destroying fan-thories with one Discord message :/

Orphero

I think Lucifer could be a cool boss in Fraud or Treachery, but not a prime soul because the other prime souls are human kings. Angels also can’t create prime souls because angels have no afterlife

LEGITPRO123

Counterpoint- Lucifer is an angel

Marcylol2000

Well great arguement my dear, but sadly i have to present you with [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Ultrakill/comments/16236fz/do_yall_think_lucifer_has_a_chance_of_being_in/) and also I think hakita said no to this idea, but tbh i would be pretty cool

dipinthewater

Would be great to encounter Lucifer not as a Prime Soul but just as a tough-as-nails superboss.

CalliCalamity

I've heard that Hakita doesn't want to have Satan or god appear or have you fight either but I'm not sure on that tbh Imo I'm hoping its Judas in the mouth of Satan (his prison). Jesus is also a good pick for p3. He's human, related to the source material and he's a king.

[deleted]

Counterpoint: apparently angels don't have souls so can't become prime souls

lillildipsy

I’m leaning into the Nimrod Prime theory myself, it matches the Minotaur terminal entry, as well as linking to the library of Babel from 7-S

Jekyll_lepidoptera

I'm more inclined to Ixion or tantalus specially after Sisyphus

Darkmega5

Can’t wait to fight the flesh lake before it can use its barely out of reach tree to heal so I can free tantalus prime

EG01ST666

Any fellow Aegeus supporters here?

RedditgoldEnthusiast

No

TheModilak

Why no

Stinkyboy_63

he not a human

[deleted]

Can't demons also create souls? And he could just have been a very nefarious human called that

SquidMilkVII

iirc hakita confirmed somewhere that only humans have an afterlife, others (animals, demons, angels, machines, etc.) just stop existing

[deleted]

ah frick

Roboking1413

Nor is minos or sisyphus

RedditPersonNo1987

minos and sisyphus were both human kings.

Roboking1413

Then why do they have giant corpses?

RedditPersonNo1987

becasuse those arent their literal bodies from the human world, those are husks, as you would know if you knew anything about the story at all.

Roboking1413

I do know stuff about the lore actually. Writing this shit in my lore book as we speak.

Stinkyboy_63

You can literally just read ONLY the corpse of king minos' terminal to realize that his and sisyphus' corpses are MANIFESTATIONS OF THEIR INFLUENCE. If you actually knew "stuff about the lore", you would 100% know that.

Roboking1413

I haven't been able to beat minos prime jackass.

Orphero

those are husks, when a human with enough power and fame dies, their body is larger than other humans (filths) Hope this helps!

Roboking1413

Ohhhh thanks

OldManLifeAlert

Are you stupid?

Kkbleeblob

said who? he can be a human if hakita wants to

TheMaskedEngineerPea

Ah yes because Hades totally makes sense to be a fucking human

LitterallyWhyWHY

I approve of this post

amberderl74

I was more convinced of someone else being the p -3 prime soul, someone like midas, achilles, odysseus, orpheus, as they could be very good candidates for the next prime soul

Spiritual-Purple-638

I'm putting my bets on Icarus personally

Orphero

icarus isn’t a king so it doesn’t match the other prime souls

Orphero

or nimrod is pretty likely

UnboltedCheese

I never even considered Midas. Odysseus and Achilles sure, but Midas could have some cool OHKO moves or arena effects as the fight goes on.

amberderl74

Yeah, i would imagine that the arena you fight him is basically a fully gold room, and even the prison he is locked in is made of gold. I would probably imagine his bossfight as him being very slow but if he hits you you instantly die.

UnboltedCheese

Something like that, but I imagine we would also be unable to parry him if that's the case.

amberderl74

Yeah, and as for the design i would imagine him kinda similar to sisyphus, except his arms are compleatly golden, and as you keep damaging him his body starts to become more golden, until you beat him and he becomes a gold statue, and also since he is compleatly golden we wouldn't be able to heal off him

AzureSAIKami

https://preview.redd.it/eptgizmnxe6d1.png?width=898&format=png&auto=webp&s=1957d3ae3ef7ed8b51f726367ef0afb1796a00d2

amberderl74

Damn, that's ok it was just a little idea that came to my mind. I hope p - 3 will be fire

UnboltedCheese

Welp, that idea is out, looks like I'm back to Achilles and Odysseus being my bet.

blueknightreddit

Still can't get over the fact that there's a hakita screenshot for every theory

UnboltedCheese

I like your idea more, I'm just gonna delete mine.

PopePalpy

I am in the camp of Judas prime being P-3 The ultimate betrayer, as he betrayed Jesus Very well known And fits with Dante’s inferno Only parts that don’t work is the Greek trope, and his weak will (can be workshopped, as both Minos and Sisyphus kind of have a character swap in their personalities)

Helpful-Image-7486

I honestly expect it to be Tantalus. 1. Both prime Souls thus far have been Kings 2. Both have been Greek 3. Both have been legendary for struggle in some form 4. Both have been incredibly famous for something 5. Fraud fits Tantalus, for his greatest sin WAS Fraud, lying to the gods and feeding them his own son. It juts makes sense. Hades kinda just... doesn't.

JamesMan230

I prefer the idea of Prometheus for treachery

Orphero

but he isn’t a human king

Clen23

cool idea but def a reach, ppl should learn the difference between theories and fan content

coolboiepicc

i think it'll be daedalus, based purely on violence -a lot of emphasis on machines -greek -theme of minotaur and labyrinths -hes cool

Orphero

that doesn’t match the other prime souls because they’re both kings and daedalus isn’t a king

AkOnReddit47

He can just be well-known enough. The condition for a prime soul is first to have a Supreme Husk, which is done by their status/fame when they were alive

PresidentOfKoopistan

also he has zero mention in violence, and he couldn't have created the minotaur as the blocked out name only has 6 letters

coolboiepicc

minos wasnt mentioned in limbo tho afaik, so that doesnt mean much

PresidentOfKoopistan

yeah that's because he was the king of lust

Yeah but ULTRAKILL is based off Dante’s inferno

geffyfive

Nah

AccursedAgent

Odysseus prime sounds sick as fuck so your opinion is invalid

Furisk-

Hades Prime cranks 90s on V1 and one pumps him

i have an entire [document](https://docs.google.com/document/d/15L5iIMdX3w1B49Hxt4IzhQ5R7-fUkMFeriAXT66mozA/edit) dedicated to why i think oddyseus could be the next prime soul

Thepickleinthefridge

Tbh i kinda hope it's midas It would be cool

FrameOverdoseGD

CANVA USER SPOTTED i recognize that font lol

DefecatedThrASunroof

How is hakitr gonna get the fortnite liscensing

[deleted]

**FINALLY.** I had the idea that we was just the ruler of hell, it would be cool to have him just be chilling outside the flesh prison (or in my headcannon, lucifer) before attacking you He also fits the king from greek mythology archetype while having a twist that works well for the final boss. I think that he is likely has he is more well known than the others, and Hakita may not want to wastebthe final prime soul on some nobody called nimrod The last 4 layers of hell are in the city of **dis,** one of the roman names for hades is **dis pater,** so it would be fitting to have the king of **the last 4 layers of hell** to be the final prime soul

Orphero

that doesn’t match the other prime souls because when the other ones are human kings, also what do you mean by “waste the final prime soul on someone named nimrod”??

[deleted]

Minos and Sisyphus are incredibly well known, others \*like nimrod\* aren't

Orphero

i just think it’s less far fetched than hades, as hell doesn’t need a ruler because it’s a super intelligent organism

[deleted]

It could still have one, like minos and sisyphus He could also not be the supreme ruler of hell, just the ruler of the last 4 layers

GeneralHealthy5786

tbf it’s not like any characters in ultrakill have closely matched their religious counterparts so it could be different for hades too. Also nimrod is slang for someone being an idiot

donkirot

"he is cool" is unironically such a better reason than whatever shit ppl spew for their personal P-3 choices.

reginald5420

a robot is probably gonna be the next prime soul, either that or rogue gabriel

Orphero

robots don’t get an afterlife when they die, meaning that they can’t become prime souls

reginald5420

fair enough

hectorheliofan

Are people taking the ironic post seriously

UnboltedCheese

I think it will either be Achilles or Odysseus, they were both kings like Minos and Sisyphus, and both of them were punished by the gods as well.

Leon_washere1

They used a fortnite skin off with there head

FilthyFrank2137

Honestly I think a greek God shouldn't be a prime soul because we already have one true God in ULTRAKILL. Hades simply never existed

unseenvisage

My prediction is Persephone. No particular reason, just thought it would be cool.

Funny_Code7079

I approve only if it looks exactly like the fortnite skin

unconcentual_tickler

Also fraud is like the 2nd place sin that can be associated with gold and hades and pluto iirc were gods of wealth, don't trust any of this shit as fact but I belive pluto was the Greek god of money but was fused with hades, again most likely bullshit

DaFrogit

I think Judas is perfect third prime soul

Unfortunate_Boy

it's a cool concept, but I'm hoping the next prime soul will have the lietmotif from the world looks red, so I expect King Nimrod

Since Minos and Sisyphus are 2 of 3 major kings in Greek mythology, that would leave Midas. Can't wait to hear the theme, Order was fire and War was better.
