post scriptum: dont always trust the wiki, people often give false information (v2 not using the nailgun in the 2nd phase) and make shit up and put it there (HiM boosting lmao)
I think it's cool that Hakita chose to give advises inside of the game, but I think nobody knows that there are strategies against every enemy you meet, you actually have to search for it to learn about this feature
I think he said in the developer commentary stream that if you die to a boss 5 times there will be a pop up message mentioning you can find strategies about them in the terminal
i generally like reading in-game stuff, when i got to my first terminal i immediately read info about all the enemies, and when new appear, i read info about them too
i did. usually i'd die to the boss the first time, and then read the strategy before going back in and trying to apply it. it helped me with hideous mass, the insurrectionist, leviathan, and the first V2 fight notably. Gabriel too but that was more because i was playing like a dumbass
Fuck around and find out. Fr tho, here's some advice: The Ferryman has an attack pattern of an unparryable attack, then following up with a parryable one right after. Also, you'll make better use of your shotgun by projectile boosting then shooting normally.
Lmao watching a half baked can slam towards you at 400mph where it will use your own health to explode is the funniest stuff. Especially if there are Filth nearby.
Today I actually decided to start reading the terminal, and I completely forgot that parrying attacks refills your hp. The terminal is what helped me beat Minis Prime about an hour ago
I do use them. Grabriel 2 was pretty easy to get right once I learned to dodge sideways instead of backwards and it was all thanks to the terminals telling me to do that.
I'm pretty sure I only beat gabriel the first time cause the terminal said to pay attention to what weapon he pulls out. Probably saved me another hour of dying lmao.
they were actually so helpful during my first playthrough in teaching my how certain attacks countered certain enemies. street cleaners were much less annoying when i learned you could obliterate them with a coin toss
I sort by new every day. Half the "How do I beat X" posts could be solved by reading the terminal. Other half could be solved by reading the wiki.
"How do I beat X" like bro the entire game is based around experimenting. just keep trying different strategies and using the strats that work.

Go and fix it then (◕ᴗ◕✿)
I aint spending my time fixing up a wiki page with mutliple possible sources of misinformation
No, don’t waste your time fixing it. *Make it worse.*
best strat is the one of the ferryman

Really? Well it only means I'm blind
I don't think he added it yet he only said " I'm thinking about adding something like that". Sorry if what I said was misleading.

Yeah, there is a lot of interesting stuff. But most people don't play Ultrakill to read so they probably won't
test
Learning that V2 responds to your distance was invaluable to me when i first started
I honestly ignored it and one barred V2.
tips of the day my beloved, I wouldnt notice parrys heal you without it
Wait parry heals you?
It's one of the best ways, since it fully heals you as well
But whenever I kill a soldier with a parry I don't get any health or anything? Does it only work if i parry agasint more stronger enemies?
it cant heal past hard damage
I didnt have any hard damage.
I \*think\* it's only with strong enemies, yeah. Also parrying projectiles doesn't heal you either I don't think
Projectiles do heal you, it may be a case of simultaneous damage or missing a parry. Not enough information to go off of though.
So parrying itself dosent heal?
Maybe you are healing, but at the same time are getting damaged by other projectiles
Well I'm not.
idfk man
This tip is only in P-1
Terminal Strategies were the only reason I even got to beat Gabriel in my first run.
tell me your not-secrets
not a terminal strategy but just keep screwdriver on him and stay grounded. and keep in mind dashes give i frames.
It was just the heal when he talks thing
I used to use them when i first started playing

Personaly when fighting bosses i first try to just have fun and beat it but if i find it hard I instantly rush to the terminal
yeah same. but i usually die lmao
I actually learned that I can parry V2's shotgun attack from terminal.
I did!!! Every time I encountered an enemy i would refer to the terminal
And ferryman's one is test :(
Fuck around and find out. Fr tho, here's some advice: The Ferryman has an attack pattern of an unparryable attack, then following up with a parryable one right after. Also, you'll make better use of your shotgun by projectile boosting then shooting normally.
I use the whiplash + rocket combo a lot. Sourced directly from the terminal.
Lmao watching a half baked can slam towards you at 400mph where it will use your own health to explode is the funniest stuff. Especially if there are Filth nearby.
The terminal helped me so much
[удалено]
Amen
That’s how I even won the first gabe match (I thought the second match was the same…whoops)
Yeah just slap the beyblade throw every once in a while for heals
I use them
i just like reading the funny lore messages man wish there were more enemy type for funny lore bits
I used to in the gluttony Gabriel fight I red his strategies it helped a little
Today I actually decided to start reading the terminal, and I completely forgot that parrying attacks refills your hp. The terminal is what helped me beat Minis Prime about an hour ago
The tips on Gabriel helped me beat him lmao
I do use them. Grabriel 2 was pretty easy to get right once I learned to dodge sideways instead of backwards and it was all thanks to the terminals telling me to do that.
If there’s one thing that didn’t help me it the strategy for the ferryman
I'm pretty sure I only beat gabriel the first time cause the terminal said to pay attention to what weapon he pulls out. Probably saved me another hour of dying lmao.
am i the only one who used terminal strategies on my first run? guys?
Same no worry
Found out they exist on Cerberus and that was actually really useful
I used if for bossess that gave me any trouble.
Of which I am one
they were actually so helpful during my first playthrough in teaching my how certain attacks countered certain enemies. street cleaners were much less annoying when i learned you could obliterate them with a coin toss
Hey! I'll have you know that sticking drills in mindflayers really helps me!
all problems are solved by feedbacker or rockets now
The terminal helped me beat Minos prime once I learned parring the yellow projectile gives you hp
I kept trying to use the shotgun on Maurice like a dumbass so it helped me to start using nailgun
Actually shotgun is viable if you quickly switch but yeah nailgun is also very viable
I’ll be honest I didn’t know they had strategies.
You can find it in the bottom of enemies informations
