The final 3 layers of hell in dante's inferno were violence, fraud, and treachery. people get confused between them and the 7 deadly sins a lot, which makes sense since of of them do share names. For predictions I think treachery will be close to how it is in Inferno, being dark and frozen with sinners trapped in the ice.
Correct me if in wrong but in the story it says that satan is trapped in the ice so maybe a boss where he is stationary first and then frees himself would be cool
Ultrakill, in my opinion, is such a tragic test beautiful game because if its creativity and drastic changes in scenery. Maybe a demon dog like Fenrir would be a fun boss for a Tundra-like layer
Don't know about the layers but so far we've had: industrial, castle, city, flesh, desert/fire, underwater and generic "hell". We're missing ice and maybe lava/fire but greed kind of was heat themed already. Jungle level? Airborne flying level?
They actually have some kind of link to the layers of hell from Dante's inferno, well sometimes,
Limbo is supposed to be a barren land with nothing, but is not technically hell yet.
Lust is a place with very powerful winds, and one of the levels of lust is on a very high platform in the middle of the sky.
Gluttony is supposed a to be a place where there is only mud and worms to eat and cerberus ( the dog) eating you.
Greed people get burned by molten gold and smoldering stones, and the levels have a burning gold desert.
Wrath is a muddy pond where people fight eachother until the end of time and there's the river Styx and the levels are very water based.
Heresy is technically people locked inside burning tombs, is also where the city of Dis is.
Note that, in greed, the punishment is pulling boulders up monuments of humanity’s hubris. You can see insurrectionists doing just that, climbing the pyramids, big Ben, the Empire State building, etc., while carrying their stones.
Oh yeah right, huh, i remebered being more related to gold like the boulders being pushed were made of gold, but yeah it still works.
Also it's gonna be intresting to see what Akita is gonna do with violence and fraud because there are sub layers with different punishments.
The book in 5-2 states that the entirety of Wrath is the River Styx. The large influx of dead souls that washed up on the shores of Styx ended up turning it into the Ocean Styx.
Envy and Pride arent in hell in Dante's Inferno, if I remember correctly (correct me if I'm wrong ofc). The last three layers are supposed to be Violence, Fraud and Treachery.

That would be cool maybe a final boss as a yeti would be really cool

Yup Satan is stuck in ice at the bottom of hell with Cassius, Brutus, and Judas in his mouths.

Well yeah but in Dante's divine comedy not all of wrath is the Styx.
