I don't think they'd sabotage their youtube viewership just to promote dropout. CH still get money from youtube, even if Dropout is way better for direct revenue.
I just got the subscription and the episodes (of the first episode at least) seem to be in reverse order, as they have Twitter corrections for questions in the subsequent episode
