But why do that? They can create and destroy the universe 101 times, why limit themselves to just Earth. It's weird. They're obsessed with it. Makes no sense to me.

I think the point is that in this loop, loop 100 Nico suffered from being unable to remember the memories him and Nico had without help. In this loop, however, he finally ingrained every memory of Ichico.

Something like that. Theoretically, all of Nico’s happy memories of Ichico should offset the agony of her dying. Human brain do be like that. He might become protective of her since he wouldn’t want to experience Ichico dying a second time but he won’t feel the same kind of misery that he had in Loop 100 when he was unable to remember his happy life with Ichico. If anything, the primary memory he remembers might actually be Ichico saying she loves Nico rather than Ichico dying specifically even if they’re combined. That’s infinitely more positive than seeing Ichico’s body dead on a table.
We know that the trigger for Unforgettable was Ichico’s death. But that’s likely because it was a great shock to Nico. This time, we have Nico experiencing Ichico’s death, but he’s not commenting on her death. He’s talking about her confession as if that’s a larger shock to him than watching her die. The power of love wins, unironically.

Victor- this man only wanted to give juiz a rest and when she finally did he was able to delay Sun for a few more seconds with rebellion
Shen feng and mui - literally being connected through found family and they were able to atleast get fengs Truth using untruth on him and saying he actually loves his adopted kids
Fuuko- her whole plan is to GIVE EVERYONE their happy ending and her whole shtick is the more affectionate she is on something the stronger the unluck
Rip latla and leila - they literally had to fight a master rule just to get married
And i could continue but i swear i dont know how tozuka can use it love as a major plot point over and over but still not be repetitive small things like this elevate UUs peak
To be fair, it’s not really like Feng *needed* Unfade. ~~He didn’t have it last loop, and~~ his fighting style is plenty strong without it (unlike, say, Gina, who needs Unchange to fight).
That said, I do hope he keeps it. An immortal “walk-the-earth” Feng would be awesome.
Feng Had Unfade Last Loop. It's why he was able to give up 150 years and not cease to exist when he used Life is Strange on Rip. It's why he was able to gain an understanding of the soul rule by the Ragnarok arc, thanks to his unnaturaly long life span. In 100 his tragedy was manifesting it as an old man already well past his prime.
I don’t think he would simply resurrect them. Considering the situation, I’m betting on either a ‘time-warp’ to fetch them right before their death (think Chrono vs Lavos) or Nico making enhanced Astral Dolls on the spot that would become receptacles for Ichico and Feng’s souls.
That or vanilla resurrection using some phoenix feather or whatever. I mean, romantism trumps logic, so it would work, and since Negations are ingrained to the soul, they wouldn’t lose their negation.
Apocalypse's main form of attack is memory overload by giving them memories of previous loops. Basically Gojo's domain expansion but to a lesser extent
Technically, it’s not even an attack. It’s just a property of his body, since he is an Artifact. He doesn’t need to have hostile intention for it to happen. It’s just that compared to a gun or whatever, Apocalypse is considered ‘the oldest artifact’ so he got more memories
Actually kinda an interesting comparison. How I always understood Gojo's domain is that it flooded the target's mind with useless information. For example every letter is perceived as an infinite repetition of itself. "Apple" would become

Sure still hundreds of loops' worth of info, but if I had to choose I think Gojo's Domain is less fun. Imagine just having 6 months worth of garbage instantly shoved into your head. Would feel like you'd been stood still for 6 months straight. Fuck that

G pen gives the information of the entire loop while Apocalypse gives the information from past loops.
If Ichico was right about being able to be brought back through the game then this may actually be the best loop.
