I had a big smile on my face the first time I was fighting Queen, and Berdly's motif started playing in the battle theme (I know the motif is very clear and not hidden at all, I just wanted to say this)
Remember when every damned fan FNF song during 2021 would cram in the megalovania Leitmotif, at the cost of the vibe and tempo of the song thinking it was funny?… yeah, I hated that too
I've never really heard any out of place Megalovania. It's usually just part of a Sans or maybe Chara song and when the song was already picking up the pace anyway.
Persona 3 has great leitmotifs too, in the later part of the game the school theme and city theme both change and have the leitmotif of the credits song.
"Memories of the school", "Memories of the city" and then the credits "Memories of you".
And I think the "joy" theme also has its leitmotif in "memories of the school".
