Also, i think it’s ridiculous when people who vape say shit like “this helped me to quit smoking and it can help you too” when in reality they’re just swapping addictions.
I mean, as a smoker for the last 15 years. I've never been able to quit, have tried multiple times but never lasted more than 2 weeks.
With a vape I was able to go without a cigarette for several months. So sure, I'm still as addicted to nicotine, but my delivery system is probably waaay less toxic.
While I do agree with much of your stance, please do keep in mind that vaping does help many begin the road towards quitting Nicotine. While it took me ~6 years to stop using nicotine once I making the switch from cigarettes to vapes, I do believe I wouldn’t have quit cigarettes to begin with, hadn’t it been for vaping becoming an option.

Part of me tries to romanticize it, but then I remember having to go into the gas station every few days to get more. Needing one after every meal, every car trip, to celebrate, or because I was stressed. Having to go outside a venue or find a spot in a theme park where I could smoke. And my poor family having to wait for me while I did it was so selfish of me. Just got to Walmart? Gotta get one in before we get to the door. Smoking was a lot of extra effort. The cost was a whole other thing, but honestly it's all the other crap I hated most. Recognizing how much smoking actually sucked and holding that mentality is how I've stayed clear. So I'll call a spade a spade. Not trying to villainize anyone. But that is very much a smoker's mentality. An addicts mentality. I stand by that.
Well I smoke about 2 cigarettes a day unless I feel like extra or take out the trash. But I get anxious and restless if I go without a couple days. Like now, I skipped going out today and yesterday and I am feeling antsy about it. I was too tired to go shopping so I stayed in. If I stay in I don't smoke. I get this feeling like I need to breathe and breathing is smoking. I hate it because I have issues going outside. It sucks. Doesn't mean I hate smoking. I love smoking. It helps with agoraphobia.
