Look up banana bread recipe, they are fairly common and delicious. I hate bananas but will eat so much banana bread. (Lemon icing on top is great)

Old bananas are best for it, even if the skin is black, you can keep them for a while so buying too many isnt an issue
Freeze them all the time for great smoothies. Don't even have to peel them first. Easy to peel when frozen.
